Aww that's alright!@MickeyCB - I am so sorry!!! I went to DLP Friday and I know you like paper - thought about it all week “gotta remember to get paper for MickeyCB”. And then I forgot(And yes, I could have said nothing and you would never have known).
I appreciate you just thinking about me!

My splint is off and I am finally catching up on trip reports. I am using the typing as rehab so beware…
Here is a funny story:
Many of you refer to me as “the rain goddess”, and not in a good way. My bosses daughters were heading to the Mother land and one of the girls called me in a panic, “I know what to pack for Disney World but what do I pack for Disneyland?”
“Well,” I said, “similar but you won’t need your rain gear.”
“Are you sure?”
Me in my most pretentious Californian voice, “yes I am sure. It doesnt rain in LA! In fact, they are having a heat wave. No rain!!!”
They are there, they are having fun. They send me photos and ask me if I need anything. All is well.
Then, I put on the Dodger/Padre game and it’s raining.
In San Diego!!!
Which is really close to Orange County.
I call the girls, “is it raining in Anaheim?”
Yes, yes it was.
My fault? You be the judge.

Yes! My friends in Santa Barbara opened up a bottle of wine and toasted the rain! So one man’s vacation difficulty = another’s prayers answered!Why yes, yes it is!

But too funny about the timing!
Not a US regular but I would recommend Toothsome’s for sure. I went for the shake but ended up additionally enjoying the atmosphere and the food too.
Remember- every shake can be a personal sized one if you believe in yourself.

I‘ll post a few as soon as I can organize them - yesterday when I downloaded them it mixed a bunch of dates up and reloaded photos from 2019 onwards - which means my 2019 beach vacation plus 2 WDW trips and 2-3 DLP trips are all mixed together

Huh....that seemed to be my dad's philosophy. I don't think he ever met ice cream he didn't like. He used to say "Good thing shakes aren't fattening!" When he passed, so many people had stories about my dad and ice cream that we bought a bunch of those little single serving ice cream cups with the wooden spoon thing for his funeral so everyone could have ice cream one last time with him. It was definitely one of the more unique requests for a funeral service the mortuary ever got.

I always clean before we leave. Who wants to come home to a mess!?!
My husband is. Annoying as it is when I’m trying to take care of all of the other pre-trip stuff while he’s cleaning it is nice to come home to a clean house.

It's official! I have both Universal and Disney booked for 2023!! Now if they would bring back dining with an imagineer, we'd be in business!

Trip planned for November to visit C for a long weekend. No Disney since Joe is coming so we're going to Universal for a day and possibly Cocoa Beach for a day. I wanted to book Hoop Dee Doo for dinner one night. They are booked at 60 days out. Any ideas?
