I saw those yesterday. I'm not a huge fan of "The Fallen" but he works. He just looks really "Praying Mantis-ish."

Now, Devastator was always one of my favorites. I was hoping they didn't screw him up...and yes, he is TOTALLY different than his original form...but at the same time, I actually like this look better. He originally was a huge robot and when combined to form Devastator, he looked almost "Leader-esque" instead of just a huge brute. This version of him makes him so primal looking. He doesn't look like he can be controlled. He looks rabid! I love it.

Been offline for a bit so haven't been able to comment lately. All I have to say is I'll give this one a chance just like I gave the first one a chance. I ended up enjoying the first one, especially since I took my son with me to the theater to see it and he had a blast. And I'm happy to see that Ravage seems to be in it, since he was one of my favorites from G1.

Now the Transformers related post: http://movies.yahoo.com/feature/need-to-know-transformers-robots.html

According to Yahoo movies, this is the official list of robots we will see in Transofrmers 2:

Autobots:

Optimus Prime - Peterbilt Truck

Rachet - Hummer H2

Bumblebee - 2010 Chevy Camaro

Arcee - Motorcycle

Sideswipe - Corvette Stingray

Jetfire - Older Decepticon that switches sides - SR-71 Blackbird

Jolt - Chevy Volt Hybrid

Skid & Mudflap aka "The Twins" - Chevy Beat and Trax Concept Cars

Decepticons:

The Fallen - No alt form mentioned yet

Starscream - F-22 Raptor

Scorponok - Giant Scorpion, just like before

Sideways - Audi R8

Soundwave - Two alt forms, Jet and Communications Satellite(Jet form not mentioned in above article, but I found it in other articles, including one with images of the toy for Soundwave).

Ravage - Large one-eyed robot cat

The Doctor - Small spider-like robot, think of Frenzy in the first movie, but with medical tools built into it.

Wheelie - Small, Radio Controlled Truck

Devastator - Giant robot made by the Constructicons: Scavenger, Scrapper, Hightower, Longhaul, Rampage, Overload, Mixmaster

Demolisher - Also a Constructicon, but listed seperate from the ones that transform into Devastator, so I don't know if he just also happens to transform into a construction vehicle, or if they just listed it oddly in the article.

I've lost ALL of the faith that it would be a good bad movie after hearing these ACTUAL BAY QUOTES.

On Jetfire: “He’s old, craggy, forgetful … doesn’t work very well. Can’t transform very well, because he’s very geriatric. They get stuck with him a lot,” Bay says. “He knows the plan of the bad guys, but he forgets all the good parts of the plan.”

On Skid & Mudflap: “Some of the junior Transformers are just dumb,” Bay says with a laugh.“But it’s great for kids because they’re like the Little Engine That Could. They’re (screw)-ups, but they get really heroic at the end.”

Bay says that when Steven Spielberg saw Devastator, he said...“This is (expletive) awesome!’ ” Bay says, “It’s always nice when you can make him swear.”

My response:

I saw Star Trek the other day (awesome by the way) and they showed the 3rd full trailer for transformers. It looked fantastic on the big screen! I will say Im a bit concerned for Prime and him surviving this film. He looks like hes taking an even bigger beating than the first movie. I pray for no Rodamus!

They also played the trailer for GI Joe. Anyone else think the scene with the 2 Joes running down the street dodging missiles in those new suits look just like the sceen in at the end of Tformers 1 with ironhide when he jumps over that screeming girl in slow motion? Of course not that that actually matters.

That "screaming" girl was hot

Yes, it was a mixture of that and the Matrix.

Well I thought it was good. If you didnt really care for the 1st movie then I dont think this one will be of any interest to you either. I think its funny rolling stone gave it a 0 out of 100, I guess the media reallllllllly dislike Bay. Oh well I love the transformers anyway and I enjoyed it a lot. The battle with Prime and the decepticons in the forest was AWESOME. I was a bit surprised that they didnt have a big forshadow to part 3 at the end of the movie. 240 million so far. I wonder what this 4th of july weekend will bring in.
