Here is a site that really dug deep into the poster. It could have some spoilers:
http://www.thehdroom.com/news/More_...Fallen_Revealed_in_Transformers_2_Poster/4099

I think its interesting that "the fallen" wouldnt be megatron. It makes a bunch of sense to me, they did do fillming in Egypt.

The Fallen ISN'T Megatron.

If I remember correctly, The Fallen was one of the original 13. (I believe his alt form was a tank-like vehicle). He was like the Silver Surfer to Galactus...kind of like Unicron's minion.

If the Fallen is in this...expect Unicron to appear at the end...or at least in the third installment.

I totally forgot about that! :hammer:

"fully explained in Dorling Kindersley's Transformers: The Ultimate Guide. One of the original thirteen Transformers created by Primus, the robot who would become the Fallen betrayed his creator by siding with Primus's dark twin, the malevolent planet-eater, Unicron. In the final battle between Primus and Unicron, the Fallen fell victim to the same fate as his master, sucked through a black hole into another dimension. However, while Unicron emerged into another universe, the Fallen was not so fortunate, finding himself trapped in the "underspace" between dimensions."

The more that comes out about the movie, the more excited I get.

EDIT: I just read they confirmed the trailer for the super bowl. Thats going to be awesome, I cant wait! Of course it wasnt confirmed from bay so I guess its not "official" just yet.

I remember when the original teaser came out for the first one. People were so disappointed...but I loved it. It was exactly what it's called...A TEASEr!

OK I dont know about anyone else but I thought the trailer for revenge was awesome. It looks like we get a glimpse of ravage and devestator. Ill have to look at it a few more times to find any other good nuggets. The 26th cant come soon enough!

The transformers commercial was the only good commercial during the whole superbowl (except for the Budweiser ones), the rest were just awful. Probably the worst superbowl commercials ever. :(

Still, movie looks great though!

It's going to be horrible.

That had to be ravage!

I agree. Do you think that is devestator? You see Prime getting his tail kicked by something crazy big, it has to be a combiner.

I want to make some kind of mathematical scale for how much awfulness a movie can get away with by compensating it with Giant Robots, something that I love very much.

The first Transformers just barely gets away with bad acting, unfunny jokes, and countless Bay Moments with the sheer awesomeness of Giant Robots.

And judging by the size of the Robots in this trailer, Bay may get away with anything for this one.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure that it is Devastator. His right arm shoulder seems like the cab to a crane.

Yeah, there were some pretty terrible moments in the last movie. Noteably John Turturro's very annoying and unfunny secret agent character, Shia LaBeouf's incredibly unfunny parents, and to top it all off a lame George Bush joke, yet I still really enjoyed the movie for some reason. I guess like you said, because of the the sheer awesomeness of giant robots. :D

Looks like it. :D
