They have said work will start on Lion King next year. Obviously that could be December but I think it will be before that.I really hope they start at least break ground on Lion King before 2026 so there's something further out to look forward to
That would probably put the opening at 2028. In the intern, Hopefully they can fast track another attraction for Avengers Campus. WDSP's is looking sad compared to DCA's now. They have said work will start on Lion King next year. Obviously that could be December but I think it will be before that.
I agree! I have actually been wondering if the DCA Avengers E-ticket can be closed for the Paris Avengers Campus? Its a pretty simple "black box" attraction that could be worked into the seating stadium portion of the old Light Motors show. With a Queue building and facade closer to the Hero Training Center meet and greet facility. It would be nice to get a new attraction every 18 to 24 months for this park with Frozen / Lion King / Avengers. I am also holding out hope an Avatar ride an area eventually makes its way to WDSP.That would probably put the opening at 2028. I could be wrong (and I admit I wasn't convinced Lion King was happening for quite a while) but I haven't seen any signs DLP are interested in Marvel expansion right now (being put off by the constant limbo the original DCA attraction was in) and during that time focused on projects for Disneyland Park and WDSP instead.I agree! I think so, there is a backstage road right behind the stadium and a little bit of land, but to the East of Avengers Campus are the train tracksIs where the Alice show the only expansion area they could have for Avengers campus now?

And remove 2 attractions in a park that needs more? They could go into the Stitch Live/Disney Jr/Disney Channel building

It’s scheduled for cosmetic works as part of the placemaking.I'd rather have that ugly building be gone tonight than keep it for those shows tbh
They attract guests to a gated experience. They’re attractions. Both are underwhelming and unpopular shows, not attractions...
3/4.So are the majority of restrooms in Europe then.
One show has just been discontinued for a meet and greet experience. Besides, 3/4 of the theaters are empty, CM had to advertise the shows for the guests in Production Courtyard a few weeks ago.![]()
The Paris photos are the same. Someones poor attempt at a joke?
Doesn’t take long for it to go from ground work to vertical. Then a long time. Then doesn’t take long to go from a very ugly and active construction site to pristine and full of foliage
Yes and no. As with most things "2026" seems to be forming as a completing date for many projects. I'd expect the 'retail' side of DV to be done by then and a lot of place making but whether or not the PH replacement or new McDonalds is open is debatable. If they are they may have started works on further replacements on the 'dining' side of DV.Disney Village will likely be done won't it?
Yes. This should be complete April 2025.Maybe the Adventure world updates to studio 1 etc
Very much TBC depending on if they open it or early or if they wait for Frozen.if the lake expansion isn't open?
Yes the new cabins will be complete by then.I can also see Davy Crocket for £980 for 3 nights with tickets so I wonder the chance of by then, it being the new cabin?
So... I'd personally say April 2026 is pushing it for Frozen and the official rebrand of WDSP however it is possible. But at this stage very much a flip of a coin.I know we are crystal balling, but how much of these updates are likely to be finished by say April 2026 half term?
