Color code for the pads map is just so that orange ones had plans in the past. The more difficult pads I did not list because they will probably be used when everything else is used

Thanks. So Adventureland can easily accommodate both IJA and Moana. It seems the Mermaid spot really shouldn't be discussed for Moana when there is a better location.

A water ride is being developed. Moana Splash Mountain is the favorite. Multiple sources are saying it. (A raft ride in the back of frontierland is a second possibility)
It's not clear where Moana splash could go. Adventureland, Fantasyland,...
What marrypoppinsinlove is saying is that this ride would be a DLP exclusive.

In its current form Adventureland only has space for IJA. The Moana water ride must probably take a away something from the northern side of Frontierland. If you demolish or retheme the Colonel's Hathi's Pizza Outpost and the Cowboy Cookout Barbecue you have about the same space that Splash Mountain occupies in DL and MK. In addition to using the empty, tree-filled area behind the Temple of Peril and these two restaurants there is a decent space for a small polynesian village which is one of the themes that Adventureland doesn't have right now.

In all fairness, pretty much nobody goes to this side of Frontierland anymore. The whole area sometimes feels like a ghost town. The Frontierland Depot is by far the least busy station of the DL Railroad and the Pocahontas Village isn't very popular with kids. That might change though once the new Lion King show comes in the Chaparral Theater in 2019.

I wonder what this entails?

DLP has the best looking Fantasyland of all
Every other park needs a makeover of their FL before Paris does

This.
There’s absolutely no reason to do anything to DLP’s Fantasyland. It’s practically perfect. If anything, the dead zone between Fantasyland and Discoveryland should be priority number one, then the Indy or whatever addition in Adventureland.

Whilst I agree, Snow White, Pinocchio and Peter Pan are all very dated and I'd personally would love to see them upgraded and enhanced whilst of course others love the dated look which gives them that old storybook kinda feel which is fine too. Shanghai's PPF looks great and would love to see that technology brought over.

No it is possible, see very very rough draft (on mobile) . Green = IJA, yellow = Splash

Or you can even put the entrance of IJA a bit further back and have just the entrance of splash there, but yes the show building might be a little over Frontierland backstage but that doesn't really matter

Yeah I see. But the only problem is that if it's too close to the Temple of Peril it will collide with the theme of Indiana Jones and there won't be a gradual transition from South America to Polynesia. Otherwise it could work, I guess.

Temple of Peril's setting is India (the design is based off Hindu temples) like Disneyland's IJA, but I agree that they shouldn't just place Moana right beside it.

Peter Pan was just updated 2 yrs ago for the 25th Anniversary so a new update won't probably happen. Snow White and Pinocchio need an update I agree (but so do their DL originals). They're just old-school charming dark rides, which isn't very bad. I would much prefer to see an expansion to FL (after Adventureland) since it is aesthetically beautiful but lacks headliners like the MK, DL, TDL, and SDL ones. It at least has a much grander ride lineup than the minuscule HKDL version.

Have you ridden the Fantasyland dark rides at Magic Kingdom? So much worse.

Is there any chance they ever tear down the IJ roller coaster and put something better there? Is there even enough room to put something better on that plot?
