Just curious - how many acres does frontierland cover? Big Thunder, Splash, Tom Sawyer Island, Country Bear could fit in that space.

Seems like it. What could have been.
Nothing indoors aside from load. Some props outside.Do you know if there are any planned scenes or anything like that for the coaster? or is it really just a load /unload area?
Not exactly related to the coaster, but will Mr. Potato Head return to the Midway Mania queue when the land nears completion?Nothing indoors aside from load. Some props outside.
The closest to an actual Monster Inc area (I know it's still in Tommorowland) and good Monsters Inc ride compared to DCA is the one in Tokyo.
Which almost happened since there was actual concept art.I think SWL will be on that level however both DL and WDW are getting it. What really increases the impact of Cars Land is that it really is something you can only get in Anaheim. DHS needs something special, something you can only experience when there and I really think a fully developed pixar place or a Monstropolis would have been that.
Which is why I'm very eager about the opening of the area next year.Avatar land will be on par with it. From an aesthetic standpoint New Fantasyland is also at Cars Land's level, it just doesn't have the anchor attraction.
Don't most lands start off pretty sparse? Hopefully more will be added later. This still beats opening day Tomorrowland. It's just so big... With the spot outlined that was said to be the load/unload of the coaster, it boggles my mind how they could possibly fill up the rest of the huge space between with meaningful additions.
Just looking at the aerial shows how crazy it is that only two attractions will be there.
It's not really a Monsters Inc area, TS just a single attraction. It's a good one though, a clone would have been welcomed at DHS in a land (or even take DCA's attraction when they likely replace that area with Marvel). The closest to an actual Monster Inc area (I know it's still in Tommorowland) and good Monsters Inc ride compared to DCA is the one in Tokyo.

I believe it will come back when the queue/entrance is rerouted. Not exactly related to the coaster, but will Mr. Potato Head return to the Midway Mania queue when the land nears completion?
Anyway there is something else added to the park besides what we already know or is this for sure it?Nothing will be added.
Wait, is he not there right now? Or do you just mean, after they reroute the queue, will Mr. Potato head return to the queue or be placed outside (like he is in DCA)?Not exactly related to the coaster, but will Mr. Potato Head return to the Midway Mania queue when the land nears completion?
He's not there at all right now. He was replaced by a mural of an amusement park midway at least a few months ago.Wait, is he not there right now? Or do you just mean, after they reroute the queue, will Mr. Potato head return to the queue or be placed outside (like he is in DCA)?
I will launch into my opinion here, which is that I hope he remains in the queue. There's a nice kind of sequel-ness between TSMM and Buzz, in that for bith rides, at the front of the big queue room there is a large animatronic character. This is likely something that nobody else cares about, but for this reason in particluar, I would be disappointed if he's moved outside. Not that I think he will be, but you never know.
You're kidding, how did I not know? That sucks. I certainly hope that he'll be returning. He's not there at all right now. He was replaced by a mural of an amusement park midway at least a few months ago.
And it's really weird too, that mural wall isn't lit at all. It's so dark in that side of the queue. He's not there at all right now. He was replaced by a mural of an amusement park midway at least a few months ago.
DHS? Nothing I know of that's green lit.Anyway there is something else added to the park besides what we already know or is this for sure it?

And I'm actually not sure why it was removed, does anyone know? The third track is over back near where Potato Head was, does that have something to do with it?
It did. The load hallway for the 3rd track goes right through the former location of Mr. potato head.Yes, I think he had to be removed when the queue was re-configured for the third track.
I think that might be a very wide prediction without having a specific time frame identified. The future goes out for a much greater distance then just the next few months. To say that nothing will be added over time is kind of misleading, I think. It may be true, but, I also don't think that this can be ruled out over a long period of time. I will accept that for now, nothing will be added, but, I don't think that is necessarily the original statement. If there is room, there is room to add on over time if the need should arise.Nothing will be added.
