Strobes!!YThe mist behind the 5th D glass caused too much condensation to build up inside the cabinets. Like Everest, an alternative wouldn’t have been hard to swap for.

Maybe they could have used foilage to protect the foliage!
Wish I had thought of that...Strobes!!
That’s already supposed to be there tooOr... take the misting effects out of the boiler room they aren't using, place them above the foliage and have them mist out the sparks causing a cool fog effect outside the hotel....

The fog effect was reactivated a few years ago. Looked amazing. That’s already supposed to be there too
That’s what bothers me a lot. Good show, or good enough show? Mr. Bluebird didn’t work for how many years, off and on?
I'm pretty sure it's still in use as of Christmas. It is such a simple, but nice effect. The fog effect was reactivated a few years ago. Looked amazing.
Lots of audio issues - too quiet, out of sync, or missing sound effects completely. You can barely hear the pre-show, or much of the atmospheric music or ambient noises in the boiler room. The musical score for the corridor scenes is out of sync, and the drop sequence audio is always out of sync as well.I agree that some plussing would be nice, but I just rode ToT a few weeks ago and I thought it looked fine. What about it do you think is in a "poor state?"
Pretty much this. Though I believe the broken clock was recently fixed.Lots of audio issues - too quiet, out of sync, or missing sound effects completely. The lighting in the boiler room and unload area has looked bad and too bright for a while. The boiler room used to be -very- creepy and intimidating with dark, moody lighting and realistically loud, creepy machinery noises. Now it's nowhere near as effective with brighter lighting and very little sound.
Often the fake motors at the loading platforms don't spin anymore.
The corridor scene (first scene on the elevator) is a mess: the glass scrim that the "ghosts" are projected onto is clearly visible due to non-calibrated show lighting. The "ghost" projection bleeds through the scrim and also appears as a mirror image on the floor. The back wall with the floating window is now clearly a screen when it used to not be an obvious screen. Lots of fiber optic stars missing as the corridor disappears - basically the entire floor is out, ruining the illusion that the corridor has disappeared completely.
The clocks and other props in the fifth dimension are usually broken and not moving now. The whole thing looks and sounds worn and tired.
Basically all lighting effects are missing from the drop sequence, including the projected electricity, the two ghost figures, and and strobe flash at the end of the sequence.
As Martin pointed out, they are only using one out of the four drop sequences due to "issues".

Boiler room lighting is now kept at work level and not show level permanently. Health and safety.
Do you live in America in 2017?Hoping the single drop profile issue is resolved soon. I miss the fear of not knowing what was next.
The mist effect outside is still used, just not every day.I remember both the fog in the boiler room and certainly the mist in the entry area. Both were such cool effects (especially outside). It was really unsettling. To the level of the first half of Mansion.
Echo has a new, longer drop profile. I haven’t ridden enough yet to notice if there’s more than one new drop profile, but the bellhops say it’s back to multiple random drop profiles. New effects in the drop shaft as well!
Completely new or just one of the old ones brought back? Also, are effects completely new or are they just the same ones?Echo has a new, longer drop profile. I could be wrong, but there seemed to be more lightning and strobes than there were in the past. I know there was some before, but not sure if these are restored or brand new.Completely new or just one of the old ones brought back? Also, are effects completely new or are they just the same ones?
They do that with the ghost family shooting lighting before you shoot up again as well.I could be wrong, but there seemed to be more lightning and strobes than there were in the past. I know there was some before, but not sure if these are restored or brand new.
Most noticeable addition is in one of the new drop profiles. The elevator drops all the way to the unload level with the Twilight Zone end of ride screen, and the TZ broken window shatters on the screen before you shoot back up into the shaft. Pretty scary, as I thought the ride was over and we’d move backwards to unload, and didn’t expect to keep going. Great addition!
