Too old for face painting???

I don't know about anyone else, but when I go to the parks, I get swept up in the feeling of being a kid again. I've always said I want to get my face painted and I would love a trip BBB, but my DH says I'm too old and would look stupid :(

I'm only 24 little girl and I'm still a child at heart and I really want to have my face painted and my hair done.

Would I look completely stupid or are there others out there just like me?

I say go for it! Other people get swept up in their own kind of Disney magic, why not you? There will always be people out there who WILL think it's childish, but who cares? It's your vacation, do what makes you happy. Go ahead, be princess for a day and savor the moment. :king:

I am rather disturbed when I see adults with makeup like that on their face. Halloween always freaks me out. I have no idea why.

It's Disney World! Have fun and get your face painted. Stand in line to get a character picture. Do all the things that someone who is young (and young at heart) would do!!! :sohappy:

I say tell your DH to find the magic and go for it. I my mom and I got our faces painted when we were down there last month. It was one of the best parts of our trip! (I'm 25 and my mom's .... older than me. :lookaroun)

You're never too old to have fun at WDW!
I always get such a kick out of seeing grown people, especially guys, wearing things they'd never consider being seen in outside the World. It's part of the Magic to just let yourself go and let the inner child take over.
If getting your face painted, or being a princess for the day would make you happy...do it!

I say go for it. Who knows, another cool grown-up kid might be passing by and decide to do it, too. I'm prob'ly going to have mine painted for the P & P Party in May and I'm a 33 year old little girl. :D

Just do it, you don't know the people who look at you anyways , so who cares. If I saw you I would think you were having fun.

Aren't we all little kids at Disney World? What "adult" would seriously ride Peter Pans Flight or watch a parade of other adults wearing cartoon character costumes? It's all silly if you really think about it but we love it and it makes us happy, so go for it. My DW is at times embarrssed for being so happy whenever she gets a chance to have a picture with a character...she says "honey, I was so happy to have my picture taken hugging Donald Duck but it's really just a girl my age probably thinking I am an idiot for being so thrilled..."

Just thought of this but last year the DW was actually looking for a princess costume but couldn't find one in her size. She said "Just cause I am an adult means I don't get to have fun and be a princess. I didn't get to come here when I was little and be a princess then."

Don't even worry about it.. my friend who was with us (23yr old) painted her face and wore it proudly.. eevn into PI at night..

Go for it!!

I also say go for it. Have fun, you're at Disney! Who cares what others might say, if they care at all. It's not like you're painting on big blotch's of red paint. They do a nice job. Others probably wish they had the gut's to do it.

It's WDW. Who cares? Paint that face, the more ridiculous the better! :D :lol:

If you can wear the silly ears and whatnot, you can wear the paint.

go for it you only live once! my cousin who is 30ish got his face painted along with his son and i don't think anyone noticed or cared! you see everyone wearing hats and stuff, so why not paint your face?
