I agree with the other posters, go for it - you are in WDW!! When I took my daughters to the BBB in the Magic Kingdom last December, my youngest changed her mind and the Fairy Godmother in training asked me if I would like to have my hair and makeup done instead, but I declined and my oldest daugher (11) took her place instead. She told me that adults get their hair and makeup done all the time. It probably would have been fun.

24?? That's wicked young! If I saw a girl at WDW in her early twenties with her face painted, I wouldn't think it was odd at all. I would just think she had a great sense of fun about her ^^ Tell your husband that we'll all back you up when you say that you're never too old for stuff like that:sohappy:

I say go for it. Who knows, another cool grown-up kid might be passing by and decide to do it, too. I'm prob'ly going to have mine painted for the P & P Party in May and I'm a 33 year old little girl. :D

Hey I'm 26 and I plan on having my face painted for the P&P Party on april 1st. I can't wait.

The age cut off for face painting at WDW is 162 so you still have some time left.:D

I think the cut off date is the day you die. LOL

If it makes you happy, then you have to do it!!! Recently, I saw a picture of Seal and Heidi Klum at Disneyland on the Dumbo ride with their faces painted. They're famous and their picture was in a publication for all to see (maybe People magazine? I don't remember) and they looked so happy!!!!

Let your inner kid shine!!!! :sohappy: (If your husband isn't comfortable joining in with the face-painting fun, then he's just missing out. :p)

Life is too short to worry about what people think of you....do what makes you happy (of course, as long as no one gets hurt!!) Take a picture of yourself and post it here. I'm sure we'd all love to see what you get painted on your face.

Of course you'll look stupid, but you're at Disney.
People wearing goofy hats, men wear Crocs.
Nobody thinks anythig of it.

So go for it.

If there are two things you need to have your face painted is as a clown or alien. Just look at Rhea Lando from Re-Animated as my avatar (She's pretty hot). She was painted green and look at her now! She's Hot!!:ROFLOL:But only to a boy like me.

...but my DH says I'm too old and would look stupid :(

Stupid?? Well ask your dh if he thinks Heidi Klum looks stupid.

Here she is at Disneyland celebrating her husband Seal's 45th birthday. (sorry the pictures are kind of small - they're the best I could find online.)

I think she looks pretty great. And you'll look great too. So go ahead and have your face painted if you want. You're at Disney! Have fun!

Just do it!! I'm in my late 40's and on my last trip (06) I bought a Skin hat in Frontier land and wore it proudly. Disney brings out the child in everyone. When I get to the MK i'm like a kid in a candy store.

Yeah, I was also remembering that Disney is the only place on earth one can wear mouse ears on their head and fit in perfectly. LOL!

Its not face paint, but....
We were in MK a few years ago, and I was in need for a haircut anyway. So, Main Street Barbers it was. Great guys there, nice chat, lots of jokes and wise cracks ( in both directions ), and when I was done, the fellow spun the chair around for the wifey to see, says 'What do you think', and the wife says 'Sure!'. I'm thinking it was about the cut. What I didn't know was he was showing her the jar of hair color/spike gel. He proceeds to do 'something' to my hair (I had no idea), then tosses a bunch of Mickey glitter on my head. Then he spins me around to the mirror. Lots of green hair spikes, with a 'hidden Mickey' impression on the back of my head. It was the best laugh I had in years, and I proudly went back out into the park for the rest of the day. OUr youngest son wouldn't even look at me. I was 48 then, and from across the streets, double takes as people walked by, some finger pointing, folks kept looking at the 'old guy' with the hair. It was hilarious. Dinner at O'hanas had a waiter walk by, stop, backup for a second look, and declare 'Man, you have issues'.
I'd do it again in a heartbeat just for the laughs.

Nope never ever to old!!!! We always get our faces painted when we go, this happened to be on the day we were leaving and I went home like this..we got so many compliments on the plane and in the airport.. where else but Disney can you, as an adult get your face painted or walk around with mouse ears and somehow, its ok.....Only at Disney , to me I have to "act " like an adult for the rest of the year, when we go to Disney , We're kids again!!!
Oh if anyone was wondering about the little one in the pic, she did'nt want her pic taken or face painted at that time!

35 more days till I can act like a kid again!!!!!
