I’d be happy with mission one or two. Just not hyperspace mountain.Literally a half hour ago my parents asked if I still wanted to go to DLP as a family trip next year. I'm hopeful but doubting DLP's SM will be reverted back to From the Earth to the Moon by then.
Still no word on when they'll change it back........................................................................................................................if ever.I’d be happy with mission one or two. Just not hyperspace mountain.
“We bought an IP and have to ram it down your throats”
I absolutely love Star Wars but if I get there next year and Hyperspace is still overlayed, I don't think I can describe my disappointment. Mission 1 is what I want to see but I'd take Mission 2 without complaining.I’d be happy with mission one or two. Just not hyperspace mountain.

The had a pretty ideal Tomorrowland until the mid 2000s. Now it’s getting as lost as all the others. Sadly we’re looking to get the SW overlay when we visit soon.I absolutely love Star Wars but if I get there next year and Hyperspace is still overlayed, I don't think I can describe my disappointment. They have the new Jules Verne trains now, they just need to embrace the original Jules Verne theme again.
If they stick to the plant then some of the "New" will be removed while some will be repainted to fit in with the land. With the new color scheme going, I continue to think about how some of the seemingly more permanent decorations of “New Tomorrowland” will be altered. I guess the only significant one I keep thinking of is the planets above the Astro Orbiter.
It did. It was also the first soundtracker audio system installed on a high G roller coaster.Mission 1 had an incredible score.
Digital audio was required to handle the forces of the coaster - there's a documentary out there with footage of the absolute brick that they use(d) for storing the onboard audio for that attraction. It did. It was also the first soundtracker audio system installed on a high G roller coaster.

If there is a saving grace we should get Ghost Galaxy in Anaheim (though I’d prefer vanilla Space)
It’s quite a good story. The tech was tested on Casey Jr at DLP. Once it was proven to work it was beefed up for SM. The biggest problem the first gen had was the memory cards kept vibrating loose. SMM1 an to a degree M2 was notorious for missing audio.Digital audio was required to handle the forces of the coaster - there's a documentary out there with footage of the absolute brick that they use(d) for storing the onboard audio for that attraction.
Though I have to assume you, Martin, have already seen that a while ago.
No need. Just stop cramming IP in everywhere. Especially when the IP is already represented.Maybe they should build a Yesterdayland.
Show that adapts to delays and runtime changes is amazing. The way soundtrack coasters adjust playback to match progress, the way dinosaur/Indy manipulates movement to cover-up ride delays, apparently Shanghai's pirates takes it into account big-time.It’s quite a good story. Mission One (and subsequent rides) has the audio split into sections to maintain sync. Listening to each section in isolation is fascinating to hear how the end of each didn’t really end as such, so it could play for plus or minus a few seconds from the ideal match without any gaps.
Yep. That’s the clever and the hard part. Fascinating.but when it does it's beautiful and totally unnoticeable.
As Walt famously said,No need. Just stop cramming IP in everywhere. Especially when the IP is already represented.
“Crap. We spent billions on this property. We’d better use it.
But we already do.
Well, use it some more. We spent billions on it.”
Yep. That’s the clever and the hard part. Fascinating.
RnRC even takes it to Easter egg level with a whole band introduction should you be held before unload too long.
Interested as well. I can't remember but I was held on the final block for a solid 5 minutes last fall so I may have heard it. But I was too focused on my friend trying not to throw up from doing Food and Wine really hardcore that morning.Yep. That’s the clever and the hard part. Fascinating.

I’m sure I have it somewhere. I just don’t exactly where since it’s not where it should be.Oooo... something else I really would like to hear sometime. You wouldn't happen to have that in video or something, would you?

Off topic, but I've heard people (friends included) humblebrag about how much money they spent drinking around the world....I've never watched someone burn $100+ only on booze in less then 90 minutes...
