I wasn’t sure which thread to put this in, but today’s college football realignment news is another punch in the face to ESPN’s value. The 4 biggest College Football brands on the West Coast now belong to FOX Sports / Big Ten. They had to up the Big12 commitment so the conference could afford to bring in the Four Corners schools and have some presence out West. They outsmarted themselves in participating in the plan to kill the Pac12, and got left with scraps while FOX got the meat.

Anyone who lives up North, like our state of Minnesota. Hockey is King around here, even though I like NFL better, LOL. It really is King and kids start out playing hockey as soon as they can stand and use a support to glide across the ice. It is also a very expensive sport for kids to get into. I came from the South where baseball is King, so this switch to Ice Hockey was a Big change for us. I'm still not a big fan.
