Is there any difference between the Tokyo cars and the MK cars? Are they Electric? Hybrid?
Maybe if it is for change there ganna repaint themIf this is the change, it's not exactly the futuristic change I was hoping for.
They are gas powered (obviously could be changed) and they were closed in JanuaryI think they are also gas powered. And their speedway closed down earlier this year, right?
they should be. Someone else pointed this out that they arent Tokyo cars. Why aren't the steering wheels on the right?

Given Tokyo Disneyland being intended as pure Americana, I would have assumed left side drive.Tokyo appears to have had a mix. He is a screen shot from a video of Tokyo. One car has the wheel on the right, the other on the left.

I don't think Tesla is looking to sponsor anything. They're still riding the hype-wave with the launch of the Model 3. And honestly, they have a pretty decent following. Plus as a "start-up", I don't think they're looking to fund things that won't have a guaranteed positive impact in terms of money. Was hoping a sponsorship for Tomorrowland Speedway with a manufacturer would electrify those cars. General Motors would be a candidate, however, Tesla seems fit for this role as their brand image aligns more closely with electrification.
Japan seems ahead of America in terms of technology. However, this wasn't the change anyone was rooting for.
Maybe he'll buy the P&R division when Iger gets tired of playing Roller Coaster Tycoon...I'd love to see Elon take over FW. He could literally sponsor TT (Telsa, Hyperloop), M:S (Space X), and UoE (Tesla batteries, solar panels) since he has a company to cover each of them.

Well from the sounds of what @marni1971 's been saying, they're going to be turning it slightly retro. It is certainly not a likely partnership. However, it would help keep Tomorrowland a bit closer to "Current" rather than "Retro."
