To bump or not to bump???

Just browsing this wonderful site, I decided to actually go back and look at some old threads, I mean ooold threads :lol:. It was funny to see who use to be on here a lot and what arguments, debates, polls, etc. were here just a year ago even.

I know that some people on here just freak out when there is a thread bump, while others could care less.

So, what do you think? Even though there is no law forbidding it, do you think thread bumps are ok, or are they just bad form? and why do you say so?

I say yes bump an old thread no problem.. People are going to complain no matter what you do.
