You don't think seeing the details would detract from the magic, do you? I haven't seen this posted on the internet before, although I may have overlooked it.

I personally would like to see it. Just post it as a link -- not a thumbnail or full-sized image -- in case folks do not want to see it.

I just came back from Disneyland and boy I can tell you that the Tink in DL is 150% times better there than she is in Fl. She flies up and around the castle setting the fireworks on fire like the old Wonderful World of Disney shows. I was really impressed!

Each of the last three trips to WDW I have pointed to the castle at least once and said to my girlfriend, "tinkerbell flies from there".

However, on each of those trips, and even the four ancient ones I made prior to our relationship, I hadn't seen tinkerbell actually fly.

On our latest trip, it happened. It was cool, I admit, but nothing like seeing my baby sister and my girlfriend (17 and 24 respectively) turn their heads to follow her flight and actually mouth the "aaahhh" that's normally only reserved for firework finale's.

Okay, how have i missed this for so many years. Is it during wishes now?
Yup. It's early on in the show, when Jiminy says something along the lines of "The magic starts with a wish." If it's windy, or there are other other adverse weather conditions, she doesn't fly.

Not unless they build a Matterhorn on ToonTown....hmm....

There arn`t any structures in the MK to take the high end of the cable in the right place. Not to mention Cinderellas Castle is much bigger and wider, higher than Sleeping Beauties - the rig would need to be bigger too.
