Attention all Earthlings, Live from Yew Nork on the planet Zork, this is Sonny Eclipse!
P3i3NX9.jpg

X-S tried it, the Galactic Federation took it over, but no matter which science/government organization took over the old X-S Tech transportation building, it seemed the program was doomed. After the escape of the dastardly Experiment 626, the old building was stripped from the inside, the chamber condemned to the deepest reaches of space, and the building itself laid vacant.

Meanwhile, one day, a talent scout from the planet Lanigironu was exploring Tomorrowland when he stumbled into an old dive of a diner called Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe where he discovered the wildly popular with locals, lounge singer Sonny Eclipse, a zorkian from Yew Nork City on the planet Zork. Upon listening to Eclipse's set, the agent asked if Eclipse wanted to sign with him. It took years, but Eclipse went from being a small diner entertainer to a world(s) famous intergalactic celebrity.

The agent, whose name will remain anonymous for it is unpronounceable to mortal human tongue, was able to build up Sonny's career to the point where Intergalactic television gave him his own talk show. Now filmed live every Schmlaterday night in the former teleportation building is the hit show "The Tomorrow Show starring Sonny Eclipse"!

In this animatronic show, an animatronic Sonny Eclipse sits on stage behind his Astro Keyboard in a set that is very reminiscent of a Jimmy Fallon or Conan O'Brien set where the Astro Keyboard serves as his desk and he has a pair of couches next to them. The animatronic works much like Mike Wazowski and the other Monsters in the Laugh Floor attraction, where the character is voiced by an actual cast member, allowing them to interact with the audience in personal ways. In fact, this attraction is very reminiscent of the Laugh Floor, including running jokes with people in the audience.

Of course, Sonny would be nothing without the classical group of Space Angels that play and sing alongside him. As a reference to the live bands often used in talk shows (particularly The Roots), three microphones are lined up in a row, empty (as the angels are invisible of course) but their beautiful melodic voices can be heard throughout the show.

This is the longest animatronic show in all of Walt Disney World, running about 60 minutes, including breaks for Sonny and the Angels to perform their original songs including "Yew Nork, Yew Nork," "Space Angels," "Planetary Boogie," and some others, including new songs to this performance. Each show is incredibly unique as the special guests range from Disney characters such as Mickey, Stitch, Mr. Incredible, Buzz Lightyear, etc. As well as original characters such as the Timekeeper, L.C. Clench, and Mr. Tom Morrow.

ki4l47O.jpg

Guests may also be called on stage to be interviewed by Sonny himself, and may even receive a special gift from the zorkian talk show host. Prizes include extra fastpasses, a Disney gift card, or special viewing for the fireworks. Mix all of the riveting interviews, the spontaneity and improvisation of the show, the classic and original songs, and all of the best puns Sonny Eclipse can come up with, this animatronic show will both be original, fun, exciting, and will become a destination when arriving in Tomorrowland. Throwbacks to ExtraTERRORestrial and Stitch include jokes made by Sonny as well as pictures of Sonny shaking his hands with the Grand Councilwoman after signing the lease of the theater.

Definitely make sure to check out a live taping of the Tomorrow Show starring Sonny Eclipse this side of planet Earth and stop by and see your favorite zorkian.

Another Abduction!

Alien Abductions. We’ve all heard the stories and collectively, we have drawn our own conclusions as to whether or not these occurrences are indeed fact or fictional. However, in the fictional land of Magic Kingdom’s Tomorrowland, these occurrences are absolutely fact!

Step inside to Tomorrowland’s newest attraction titled Another Abduction! Here, the attraction will utilize the space of the former Stitch’s Great Escape show building. The attraction will call for a brand new look of the building making it appear as an intergalactical space station. One specific area of the building will be gutted entirely for this new attraction. I’ll go into detail on that later.

The Story

Approaching the Tomorrowland Intergalactic Space Port, guests encounter the ‘Up Field Observer’. The true meaning of UFO. Today’s assignment: Captain Callisto has been assigned to take vacationing earthly beings on a space-bound tour in order to provide knowledge as to what the UFO’s true significance is to the universe.

After undergoing the preshow, guests are guided into the UFO (Stitch’s old room where guests watched the show). The UFO stands alone away from the building. It is placed securely within the structure of the surronding building but out of public view of outside guests in the Magic Kingdom Park. Once the preshow is set and done, guests walk into a newly constructed tunnel leading them to Captain Callisto’s UFO. The lone UFO with all its bright colored lights stands tall with smoke being blown through several cylinders.

In monents the ramp of this aircraft opens up which gives guests the opportunity to walk aboard. Once inside, guests will strap on to their seats (same seats previously used on SGE and AE) and await for their captain. Once everyone is situated and the ramp/door is sealed shut. Guests will meet Captain Callisto. Captain Callisto will be played by a live actor. Also visable in the ship is a glass chamber placed in the middle (SGE and AE) where the abductions will take place.

After a short introduction, Captain Callisto gets things underway. With hydraulic effects/machinery, the UFO lifts off the ground and begins to rotate in a moderate spinning fashion. Think of the UFO spinning ride at you’re local county fair.

First stop: Naboo. Now you’re asking yourself, Naboo? Isn’t that a Star Wars related planet?! Why yes it is. However, this attraction is a cross-IP attraction which delves into other magical star systems, not just Star Wars. Once in Naboo, our captain displays the scenery of the planet by opening the metallic walls, revealing the wonder and beauty of Naboo. This is done by using a dome shaped screen. Captain Callisto goes on to state that we cannot be seen by any of the inhabitants of any of the planets we visit. However, our cover is blown by one particularly interesting character...

Captain Callisto quickly navigates the ship over this individual and gradually abducts him! (The ship does vibrate throughout as this happens). Suddenly within seconds, our abductee (is that how you say it?) makes his way into the glass chamber. Where am I? Meesa don’t know where I am?

m35nt.jpg

That’s right folks, we’ve captured Jar Jar Binks! Jar Jar in all his AA glory begins to monologue with the captain.

Captain Callisto: Fear not Gungan. We come in peace.

Jar Jar Binks: Yousa Jedi?!

The monologue goes back and forth with Jar Jar even interacting with guests and moving around in his Goofy-like funny nature. Our captain then entraps Jar Jar, sedates him with a sleeping chemical substance (light purple fog to display a neutral color, so that when each abductee wakes up, it feels like a dream, neither a good or bad one). Jar Jar instantly falls asleep and our captain transports him back in a discreet location back on the floor level of Naboo.

We take off once again. Our next destination in: Planet Dough. On this planet, we encounter our old pal Skippy from Alien Encounter and Stitch’s Great Escape.

1zyfxfp.jpg

In fact, we actually save Skippy from a terrifying blood thirsty alien. The same alien creature from Alien Encounter. The encounter is brief and Captain Callisto actually promises Skippy a better home as he teleports him back to Tomorrowland.

Meanwhile, we take off again. This time: Duckworld. A rich and breathtaking planet, almost like Earth in many ways, only difference, it’s inhabitants are of intelligent ducks. We take in the views until... we’re spotted again. This time by a heavy cigar smoking wise cracking duck! We abduct him.

2yto7jq.jpg

Howard the Duck: What the hell?! What is this?!

Captain Callisto: Settle down my feathered friend, we come in peace. My name is Captain Cal...

Howard the Duck: Yeah yeah yeah... Why won’t cha shut the hell up will ya? Why am I here? Oh! You must be the Collectors’ new assistant! Running around doin’ his bidding.

Captain Callisto: I assure you, I do not know what you’re talking about...

Howard the Duck: Listen pal... It’s okay if you wanna live you’re life being a follower, I myself am an avid follower of the Duckashians. Sure, it’s a bit embarrassing to admit that but I love it, okay?! All I ask is to not be kept in a jar. I’ve been through it once, never gonna do it again!

The conversation continues to flow between the two and as Howard speaks, you can see the smoke coming out of his cigar of the AA. The conversation then takes a nasty turn after Captain Callisto mistakenly refers Howard as Donald Duck.

Howard the Duck: Donald Duck?! You mean the only duck in Duckburg who still can’t speak proper English without doing this... (Does a Donald Duck impersonation). That is the most insulting thing I’ve ever heard in my life. You little son of a bi...

Captain Callisto quickly shuts the glass chamber and unleashes the sleeping chemicals. Howard is then dumped back into his civilization.

Captain Callisto: That takes care of him. Now off to our final stop of our tour...

Our captain takes us to yet another star system. This time, while traveling in hyperspace, our ship encounters a weird entity. Captain Callisto investigates the situation and notices something leeching on to the bottom portal of the UFO. The same portal that is used to teleport all incoming subjects. Captain Callisto makes the decision to beam the creature up, believing it could be another being in need of help. Unfortunately for our captain, he is wrong...

29c1euv.png

It’s a Heartless! And not even our captain knows what it is. As Captain Callisto observes it’s erratic behavior, he decides it’s best to toss it back into space. We continue to venture out.

Our final stop, not a planet but an old abandoned starship: Nostromo. As Captain Callisto says.

Captain Callisto: Well folks here we are, our last stop of our tour. My apologies, if it isn’t a planet per say but the size of this ship is so huge that it’s passable to consider it a planet, haha! No worries, I’ve been here before...

As our captain glides the UFO into Nostromo, we see glimpses of the abandoned ship. So dark it’s scary.

Captain Callisto: Trust me folks! There’s something inside here that’s worth seeing!

After searching for a few moments, our captain spots it.

Captain Callisto: Haha! There it is! Come here big fella...

Captain Callisto captures the creature and teleports it into the ship where we see...

1zbh1mb.jpg

A foul Xenomorph. A terrifying creature not to be messed with. However, Captain Callisto shows it off with pride as he makes his way in front of the chamber.

Captain Callisto: No need to fear my friends, as long as this fella is trapped inside this hollow chamber, nothing will go wrong. Absolutely nothing!

Captain Callisto taps on the glass as if it were a fish in a tank. The Xenomorph reacts viciously, banging it’s head against the strong withstanding glass, all while our captain mocks the creature. But, repercussions are to come and as Captain Callisto has his back turned away from the alien, something sinister is happening inside the chamber.

Black lights began to flash repeatedly along with black fog. The Heartless is still in the ship, inside the chamber and it’s overtaking the Alien. The Alien accepts as it has no heart thus transforming the Alien into a Heartless-Xenomorph nightmare! It’s first act, a thunderous heartrending roar! Captain Callisto turns around and let’s out the most girly scream ever to be heard.

Captain Callisto: Oh dear! Where in Pluto’s cosmic doghouse did that come out of!

Captain Callisto rushes back into his cockpit to release the Alien hybrid but to no avail. The creature getting angrier by the second manages to break through the glass chamber and begins to terrify the audience. This is essentially where the climatic plot becomes a lot like Alien Encounter with the lights being shut off and guests feeling the hot breath of the alien on their skin.

Captain Callisto manages to fix the lighting and grabs his blaster, where he sees the Alien posted back into position (chamber). Our captain repeatedly opens fire, taming the beast. Then with good timing, runs back to his cockpit, sets the ship into hyperspace and releases the disgusting being as it zooms back into the Tomorrowland Intergalactic Space Port (TISP).

Once arriving back, Captain Callisto apologies to attendees and excuses himself as he goes on to barf in a trashcan.

————————————————————————
Well, there you have it. It’s a very AA heavy attraction utilizing the same lifting techniques of AA onstage as seen in The American Great Adventure. I know I broke the rules of the contest but really, it’s not about winning for me. I had an idea and I wanted to explain it to very end. I hope you all enjoyed what my imagination cooked up! It was fun imagining it!

UFO Racers
os-disney-epcot-sum-stormstruck-closed-20160913

Using kuka arm technology, this new simulator will have guests board UFOs to go on a race through different planets, with each ride being different than the last. Expect to see many areas from disney ips, from more well known such as star wars, alien, toy story and lilo and stitch to lesser known, such as treasure planet, tomorrowland, and the black hole. As well as areas from old disney attractions such as x-s's planet, the planet where the alien encounter alien came from, the planet seen in the alien encounter attraction from disneyquest, the space area from horizons and more. At the end, a tally will be shown on the ufo's screen showing placements in the big race.
I really like the technology that you used for the ride! Using a bunch of IP is great because Disney loves adding more and more IP to the parks. Great Job!

I know this is probably not a bad show but like it is not needed! You know what that means... Time for a Disney Overhaul!

Backstory

This is basically a 20 minute show that has Belle picking guests to play parts in Beauty and the Beast. The new version opened on December 6th, 2012. This backstory is really short because there is really nothing interesting about this show. Your task is to create a new princess themed ride or show to take over the building. You may NOT use Beauty and the Beast.

Remember!

You can start from scratch or use the existing building.
Stay in the that area and don’t extend the building.
No old or extinct concepts/rides
Maximum of 50 sentences & minimum of 3 sentences
You have till August 6th 7:30 PM PST
Have Fun and Good Luck!
The building for Story Time with Belle will be demolished to make way for the beginning of an ambitious Magic Kingdom Expansion!

The area of the former Belle show will serve as an entrance to a fully indoor and perpetually nighttime new version of New Orleans Square that will actually be built above the backstage roads and storage and connect behind Small World and Haunted Mansion to another new land that will stretch around the back of the Rivers of America.

The green area on the map above is where Belle was. This location will serve as the base for two new experiences. The first will be Tiana's Place Restaurant! Serving the finest Foo from New Orleans prepared by the finest chef from New Orleans (Princess Tiana who will gladly meet with her guests outside the restaurant in a new dedicated M&G location with Belle taking her spot in Princess Fairytale Hall). During dinner time, a little jazz band performs for guests. The restaurant will be built to share a kitchen with Be Our Guest and will hopefully help tale some of the crowds from there.

Next to Tiana's Place will be Louis's Big Bog Band Revue! A musical Animatronic show similar to Country Bear Jamboree. Hosted by everyone's favorite jazz musician crocodile from Princess and the Frog, this show will be a fun and enjoyable high capacity people eater attraction. Something the MK definitely needs more of!

Venturing into the main section part of New Orleans Square, guests will find a perpetually night time town. A little darker than the California version. But the indoor setting will allow for some enchanting projection and lighting effects helping the land come to life with lightning bugs, fireworks, and mystical shifting shadows. This will be the blue part of the map. A very simple land meant to bridge Fantasyland to the new expansion pad (Red on the map). Featuring unique, quirky, and interesting shops and food stalls as the primary draws. It blurs the line between land, walkthrough attraction, and stores similar to Diagon Alley at Universal taken a step farther. There will be one real attraction though. The Museum of the Weird walkthrough, a more voodoo inspired version of the unbuilt Rolly Crump attraction.

Overall, this expansion project will do wonders to increase guest flow at the Magic Kingdom as well as capacity. It will help to alleviate the congestion between Pan and Small World by providing an alternate path. And it will allow for new lands to expand around the entirety of the Rivers of America. And it all starts with a new princess attraction replacing Story time with Belle.

Princess Parade
sponsored by: Precious Moments
A brand new walk-through / live show aimed towards children and families who adore the Disney Princesses and the fairytales they come from. The critically acclaimed giftware company will sponsor this new gem.

The building formerly known as Enchanted Tales With Belle will mostly stay the same on the outside. Once entering the building, guests will be guided into an area where they will be introduced to their host/hostess. There, guests will be welcomed to a happy gathering where children will create their precious moments by reenacting their favorite moments in Disney Fairytale history.

Each child choosen to become part of the show will be able to choose which characters they want to portray. Stories of the likes of Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Tangled, Princess and the Frog, Aladdin, Frozen, The Little Mermaid, and of course Beauty and the Beast.

There will be specific scenes for these kids to reenact with props available to use. The show continues on to the next room which will host a small scale theater equipped with a fancy miniature stage that features a beautiful red and golden curtain. Let’s not forget the Happy and Sad masks of the Precious Moments likeness that will be placed up and center onstage. Cushioned benches will also be present for guests to watch the tiny play.

With that said the play begins, guests will laugh, holler and enjoy this show performed by their kids. After the play, the child actors will deliver their final bow to the audience as the audience themselves awards the young actors with a standing ovation.

Afterwards, guests will be taken to the final showroom filled with Disney Precious Moments original artwork and sculptures of these fairlytale characters. What makes this room unique is that after getting settled in, guests will be surprised by several themed floats that hosts animatronic versions of the Precious Moments kids dressed as Disney characters. Princesses appearing in this final act will be Belle w/ Prince, Jasmine w/ Aladdin, Cinderella w/ Prince, Ariel w/ Eric, Rapunzel w/ Flynn, Snow White w/ Prince, Aurora w/ Phillip, Tiana w/ Naveen, and Anna and Elsa.

A grand total of 9 remote controlled floats and 18 high quality animatronics/puppets. Guests will be able to take their pictures in front of the floats. The experience all comes to an end through the gift shop, where unique Disney Precious Moments items are sold. This will be the one and only location throughout Walt Disney World to purchase exclusive Precious Moments merchandise.

Rapunzel's Tower Drop

Because of the removal of Enchanted Tales with Belle, Disney needed another crowd-eating attraction in Fantasyland. However, as the space provided was far too small (without destroying Be Our Guest) for a Dark Ride, they seemed to hit rock bottom in their ideas. However, that's when inspiration struck. The only way to go from rock bottom is up.

With the next idea, Disney needed to make a pretty major change. The beloved Tangled bathroom area was now to be rethemed to Peter Pan, replacing Rapunzel's Tower with Skull Rock and the bathrooms themselves to the lost boys clubhouse. With that minor mousekeeping done, we'll move on to the actual attraction now.

Building up from the now defunct Enchanted Tales with Belle's cottage sprung up an all new tower, Rapunzel's tower. The queue itself is themed to the forest and cave that Rapunzel's tower was locked behind. The loading is actually behind Rapunzel's tower in a show building as is the drop tower portion of the attraction, built in the actual footprint of the show for Enchanted Tales while the queue and Tower itself takes place in the footprint of the old cottage. The ride vehicle (themed to be suspended by Rapunzel's hair) brings you through the winding staircase up to the top of the tower where Punzie lived. You wind through the room (much like the Twilight Zone portion of TOT) observing Rapunzel's old paintings and scenery. Then, the windows open as you get closer to the edge of the tower and you begin your free fall.

The attraction is a basic drop tower attraction, actually housing 3 ride systems all at different angles of Fantasyland but are the exact same in the themeing. The drop tower has a series of 5-10 drops randomized every time. The attraction then releases guests into Fantasyland once again.

This new dark ride will have guests board one of the candy race cars from Wreck it Ralph's Sugar Rush to help Venolope save all the disney princesses from Cybugs and all of the disney villains. The car will take guests through the princess worlds that don't have a ride yet, such as sleeping beauty. The ride will end with the princesses thanking venolope and the guests for saving them. Then after the ride ends there will a meet n greet area where guests can meet with their favorite princess.
This sounds like a fun ride! I’m guessing the ride wil have a lot of screens? But the ride would definitely do well with WIR 2 heading to theaters soon!

I really love the additions you added around! I really love Princess and the Frog and needs to be added to the park! The expansion sounds great. Great Job!
