Looks like they called it off and the ride won't reopen for the rest of the day.

4 hour closure and breakdown to end the day..

Also, I just noticed that they change the VQ status in the MDE app if the ride is done for the day and won't reopen.

I should update my tracker to look for that key phrase to alert on early closings.

I have been trying to get the BG since the AP preview a month ago and never succeeded. Finally, I got BG 55 this morning. Never showed any wait time estimate, so I calculated that it will be ready around 12:30, took the kids out of school and left at 11:30, getting inside MK at 12:40, when it said my group was ready! Very sunny hot day. Headed straight for Tiana, and there was a giant crowd there. The line inside the courtyard was so long, I estimated that the wait time was about 1 hour. They were calling the Boarding groups too fast! That's why there were 37 more than yesterday!
The ride went without problems. On the way out, we walked past the large crowd baking in the hot sun.
I did not like it; Splash Mountain was much better, and all this was a lot of work. But now I can sleep in and get rid of the 6:59 alarm every morning.

I hope he made his park reservation in advance for Magic Mountain and then his ride reservation for Colossus a week in advance at a specific time and then made his day of in park reservations for Revolution while continuing to refresh to ride Ninja eight hours later in the day!
