I agree with you but its really not open to the general public and guest, except to lottery winners, and then a second lottery win to even get called at all. Sure doesn't sound like an attraction to be proud of now does it....I think it already is a black eye, its obvious they don't even want many people riding it knowing there is not all that much to show anyway, plus its poor (way overly tech) system issues, and with its story problems or lack thereof. It’s amazing that after almost a month of being open to the general public and another month of special audience previews that the reliability remains so poor.
I used to think it was a large number of simple tweaks and adjustments that needed to be made to get it up and running reliably, but it seems like there are major systemic issues that they are unable to fix, without an extended refurbishment. Which in and of itself would be such a black eye to WDI. So get used to this until BTM comes back from its refurbishment.
At least $142M well spent for this necessary downgrade.
That is so expensive to purposefully destroy Splash Mountain. Who knows, maybe some day they will spend another $142M and put Splash Mountain back.At least $142M well spent for this necessary downgrade.
Well today the entire morning from park opening to the afternoon 1pm drop was flawless, and there wasn't any downtime.Any thoughts why the 1pm drop is so inconsident? Is it mistly a matter of how many morning groups were called?
Regardless of one’s viewpoint on the quality of the attraction, almost everyone seems to be in agreement that the poor reliability is unacceptable. This can have a huge impact on a lot of first time riders’ viewpoints on said attraction. He’s been a very positive voice in support of this attraction, and even he’s upset about it’s performance and reliability…
When they start to lose Drew…
