Only 5 hours of downtime today.

Plus an additional 1 for closing an hour before the park does. What gives?

7am drop lasted for 1.568 secs.
Thursday 7am Drop Average: 1hr 0m -> 50m (-10m)

The ride has not opened for the day. The park officially opened at 9am.
Well it opened at around noon. Now serving BG 1-18.

What a total fail for WDI.

I would seriously hope that guests with MPLL go to guest relations and politely but firmly ask for their money back. Going live with such an unreliable attraction is an embarrassment.

It's so obvious at this point that operations rushed WDI to open this and now they're paying the price. Maybe they'll learn a valuable lesson from this. They probably won't but I can dream right?

I know it's not likely, but I genuinely hope they either switch the animatronics to be on loop for DL. (Or at least have tested that DL's faster flume allows for a better reset process.)

They probably won't. They don't seem capable of learning from mistakes, at least from my cheap seat. Whether or not that comes thanks to Burbank mandates, I cannot say.

The first step to acknowledging you have a problem is admitting it. I can't think of anytime that Disney has expressed some humbleness and admitted that they got something wrong and are going to learn from it.

Instead you have the typical insufferable PR Spin and access media jump into action.

The Acolyte is the generates the most engagement on social media.
Higher Prices are a good thing because they improve guest satisfaction.
You're a (Fill in the blank) if you don't like this Disney product.
etc. etc. etc.

This is Rise all over again. It's "only" been a month, but Rise still has issues so I'm not feeling optimistic.

Have other new rides had these issues? Runaway Railway and Rat seem the most analogous (as opposed to Guardians or Tron). I don't remember if they had major problems.
