I could see early 2025 as a worst case scenario but I agree they're going to try to hit the Thanksgiving Christmas period.

Yeah, they don't need the marketing boost, but definitely need the capacity. Will also be interesting to see MK open a brand new attraction in party season.

Thanks for that.In light of all the flops andDisney has been putting out, I truly think this overlay is going to flop as well. I just don't think it's going to be praised well.

Second, it's the same flume ride, just re skinned. If folks like flume rides, they will still go on it.
Third, it's an attraction in MK, it's gotta be as boring as the tree house to not be mobbed all the time.

Hopefully, and also possibly.
There's a heck of a lot more to Splash that made it great aside from just being a flume ride. What they do with the show scenes will determine whether the ride is good or bad.
Well those are good reasons to destroy a classic.
People will ride it no matter what crap we build !!!

Hopefully, we’ll all be surprised and it will be good…if not, it won’t matter in Disney’s eyes because the problematic problems will have been eradicated…FOR NOW…and they will move on to something else…can’t even “Kiss the Girl” anymore…

Yes. Every new Disney attraction, good or bad, is still widely praised by the brand loyalists and influencers.
People going on a ride doesn't make it great. Way to substantially lower the bar.
A great attraction takes a successful melding of them and ride. Witness Dinosaur at AK. It's the same ride system as Indy at DL. Indy is one of my favorite all time attractions. I will reschedule a trip if I find out Indy is closed. Yet I often just skip Dinosaur without a care.

I never said Tiana was going to be a great ride. I have no idea. All I said is we need to wait and see.
I also said folks who like flumes will go on it because it's a flume.
I appreciate you will skip Dinosaur but love Indy. For us, we are in the MK, its MOBBED as usual, I paid for my family to get in, I paid for Genie+ for the family, if we can get in an attraction, we will do it, even if its Tiana.
Do I agree that splash should be erased from existence? No.
Could Disney have tweaked Splash to deal with the issues Disney had with it? YES. Disney chose not to.
I hate to say it, but even Disney fans sometimes must take what we get. We are not in control.
