Do we know that Facilier is dead though? Or did he just get dragged to "The Other Side" and is still plotting his way back?
That is the device that wouldallow him to be in any fthing... I mean why has he had any park presence if he is dead? Likewise we know that Malefecint is dead at the end of Beauty but she seems to be around a lot... The Wicked queen as well...They are all dead by the of the princess films, but everyone loves seeing them....so.....

Dusty Sage claimed they’re installing massive set pieces for TBA, and whether that has a more literal meaning in connection to a possible shrinking plot is anyone’s guess. I thought of this as soon as I heard Alicia Stella’s claims, though I’m sure this could (and likely) be alluding to any other set pieces such as Tiana’s Palace in the finale. Still something that popped into my head regardless

Of Disney's roster of animated villains, second only to Hades, Dr Facilier is the closest thing Disney has to a potential "necromancer" like character (well except maybe the Horned King, though I don't think anyone expects Disney to revisit the Black Cauldron as an IP). The concept of resurrection fits very well with dark voodoo magic, Tia Dalma being another example. The idea that Disney can't or won't come up with a reason to have him appear in a post-movie story out of concern it wouldn't make any sense is ridiculous. Whether it's him escaping the netherworld and coming back to life, or having guests take a wrong turn in a deep dark part of the bayou and ending up on the Other Side themselves. I like the latter option personally as it helps justify the drops and final lift (a cameo by Ray would even be possible in this scenario). But either way, excluding him from the ride was a huge mistake.

In order to do a "shrink the guests" gag, all the AAs would have to be supersized. We're looking at a six foot tall possum. Louis would be 20 feet tall. The kind of stuff done in Toy Story Land.

Disney "fans": I doubt Disney will provide an adequate amount of AAs.

Also Disney "fans": I'm quick to believe that Disney will provide giant AAs.

They can make Louis 20 feet tall on a screen

No
Tiana’s Palace in the finale.
I'm still struggling to understand how they'd make that work - you see one version of Tianas Palace in the finale, you walk outside and (at least at Disneyland [for now, hopefully in Florida too soon]) see a very different-looking version. How'd they make that work? I just feel like it'd be confusing. While I agree it's the most likely option, it just doesn't make sense, cohesion-wise. Now, if they made it look like the exterior of the real restaurant they built at DL, not the one from the movie, it'd make sense.

The “shrinking the guests” conceit is why the former CFO found the money for this project
