We can hope. But this is unlikely in my opinion. I would say optimistically and unrealistically, maybe a late August opening at the earliest, and a Thanksgiving weekend opening at the latest.
It looks strange with no tree stump on top. Maybe, I’ll get used to it but for now it just looks…strange. It could also be we are so used to the way that the stump looked.

August works for me. I’d rather see early August. I am planning a late August trip and would prefer not to be there the day it opens.
I think September 2024 is the earliest we can expect to see this open which is at the end of summer so you could be right.

Nothing years away from completion looks good
in an ideal world this attraction would have been given an additional year or two.
In an ideal world, the ride would not have been closed until the replacement was fully and completely developed, and also the construction would not take over a year...they built practically the entire park in a year... and yeah, blah blah blah, there were not people around, blah blah, but most of this work is completely out of the reach and eyes of people... so...
Yeah I’m kinda surprised they wouldn’t push harder to have it open in May or June given it’s a water ride. I can’t imagine they couldn’t fast track it if they wanted to, but they apparently don’t want to.
