I can't wait to read what your excuse is going to be when April and May both come and go and the ride is not only still open with no closing date announced but more of the broken effects have been fixed.

Gee, Indiana Jones is open, Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railway is open, Toontown is open and still no closing date announced for Disney's Splash Mountain. I could have sworn people here said they did not want to close Splash until all those were up and running. Well...here we are and Splash is STILL open. It's almost as if Disney is only going to close Disney World's version and someone behind the scenes is fighting to keep Disneyland's open like previously reported. Hmmmm.

That really stupid rumor of DL's President and "his board (!)" fighting the retheme is completely made-up B.S.

As for when DL's Splash goes down, one actual insider has said May.

Then there is this...

And one of our most trusted Insiders called MK's Splash going down first before DL a year ago. Which means that DL's Splash's retheme had been long ago planned to happen after MK's.

Not to mention Disney officially announced it's happening. And that nearby venues are already being rethemed to PatF in DL.

It's going to happen. All rumors to the contrary is literally wishful thinking and an internet echo chamber of nerdragers and clickbaiters who repeat outlandish rumors so much that the naive think it must be true. What counts is one's source, not how many times it gets repeated.

Or we can all go along with WDW Pro who had it closing in January. This past January.
I can't wait to read what your excuse will be in May when the ride is still very much open

Laugh all you want. I deal in facts.
FACT #1. The ride is still open
FACT #2. No closing day has been announced
FACT #3 Broken effects that have not worked in over a decade are being fixed.
1. Yes the ride is still open. So is every other ride at Disneyland
2. No it hasn't. That doesn't mean there isn't one coming.
3. Most likely due to parts from Florida’s mountain

Just wait. You also forget Disney is about to have a mass firing the likes never seen before from ALL THEIR DIVISIONS. We are talking about TOP EXECUTIVES like Victoria Alonso who many thought was untouchable. So..those executives who pushed this retheme and fought for it, may be going bye-bye. The plans you think were coming- may not be now. Just think about it. Also also, if the ride is going away- why fix broken effects with Florida parts if its just going to go away anyway? Answer: you don't unless the ride is sticking around.

Stop with the conspiracy theories. No one “behind the scenes” is doing anything of the sort, and the CEO wants this done.

Disney has said they’re closing it. They gave no definite time line. That’s all we know. It could close in a month, it could close tomorrow. Fan speculation is nothing but fan speculation.

Seriously, you might end up loving the DL Tiana ride.

Um… you do realize who the CEO is, right? You do know he dislikes Song of the South and wants this change done, right?
