Raymond Kinman that did a lot of wooden signs around the parks claims he was signed back on in May for a "Mystery"project. I bet we know what it is for but will not say because of a NDA.. He post continuously on social media in any Disney group that will approve about how he was originally hired and shows off his work. Its mostly to drum up commission work. Maybe he will do more original work for this store location.

I don't imagine the art is more than a placeholder until the store is rebranded a year from now.
That’s what I was thinking too? The interior doesn’t make any sense with the carrots grown into the ceiling. It made sense with Splash but not TBA.

I’m still hoping that the entire area is absorbed into New Orleans Square, instead of remaining as Critter/Bear Country.

Snow White's refresh was busted in.... like two months of it re-opening. I don't have very high hopes for TBA's upkeep.

Plus, the cost of Genie Plus went up again!!! I already paid almost 200 bucks a day to get in, how much more are they gonna want from me?!
Exactly. I know one would assume my expectations for TBA are low because I'm a Splash fan (I like PatF, too, just not excessively), but it's actually because of this. I mean, DL's SM was constantly dark, and WDW's was a hot mess during its final year.

Although I have attractions that I enjoy other than Splash Mountain, paying all that extra money to stare at my phone for most of the day and having things break down consistently is why I don't really want to come back any time soon. I'd like to visit the WDW water parks one day because I only went once when I was 5 years old, but I don't see myself returning to Disneyland in California any time in the foreseeable future.

Disney should do projects like building a cathedral which is generational and takes a few hundred years to complete!
You are thinking of the Max Factor replacement building facade timeline for DHS

That would be forgivable if they were as immaculate as the cathedrals and built in a time frame based on tithings.

Not so much in 21st century where they are a multi billion dollar company building faux-material based scenery.

I don't expect it to be something I can have in my own home in a couple clicks.

I'm sure you know that memorabilia is an entirely different category from general decor.
I think that's my issue with it, too--and it's nothing disparaging against their artist(s) or the online store itself, it's the level of shocking cheapness and low-effort that it's a joke. It's the company with more money than God who has a shockingly dystopian media monopoly putting a little effort into a re-banding (which is supposed to be important) as possible.
