I'm still shocked by them talking about World War 1 in a Disney attraction in critter country of all thing. It's genuinely jarring for myself and others. It’s one thing to be upset and critical, but what’s been going on in this thread is not exactly that. Not recently, at least. There were multiple posts of folks getting hung up over the announcement of brief WWI details that will be in the attraction…getting their undies caught in a bunch over something they said would be “touched on.” That’s just one example of the irrational commentary.
I’m not the only one who sees it.
I think it's fair to say that Critter Country will be different, if indeed it continues to exist once TBA opens.I'm still shocked by them talking about World War 1 in a Disney attraction in critter country of all thing. It's genuinely jarring for myself and others.
When did Disney confirm that this was staying a Critter Country ride? This is not Splash Mountain. A BRIEF detail going into a character’s background is shocking jarring, despite the location of where the detail would be not even being shared? How is that rational? You read it, but it doesn’t seem you like took ten seconds to ponder on what you had actually read.I'm still shocked by them talking about World War 1 in a Disney attraction in critter country of all thing. I'm not here to be up in arms, I read that and it was shockingly strange to say the least. Sounds like I am not the only one. I'm not looking for things to be mad at.
How is commentary irrational if it's people's valid reactions?
I, as well as others, will continually laugh at Disney's parks blogs and PR posts whether it's Alberta Falls, Time Traveling Giftshop Owners, Fictional Couples that own a restaurant in DCA, or Hot Dog Days.

Tiana's Bayou Adventure fits better in Critter Country then Winnie the Pooh because at least the animals that her and Naveen deal with are actual animals. Pooh and friends are stuffed animals they aren't really critters.Apparently the new Mark Twain narration mentions that TBA is a part of Critter Country. At least, for now. I would like the Critter Country name to remain even though the area is no longer "country" country, if that makes sense.
To me, TBA is going to add a much needed sense of thematic cohesion to the area (that has been missing since Pooh moved in). With Tiana, "Critter Country" transitions better than it ever did from New Orleans Square. -and between both her attraction and Pooh, the area delivers a full-on "Critter Fantasyland" vibe now. At least, I think it will.

Don't know why anyone would want to subscribe to a magazine that produces puff pieces.

Don't apologize. And I'm not angry, for the upteenth timeI'm sorry but every time I explain something logically you choose to reply in anger.
Clearly you are not actually looking to listen and instead anyone with any criticism is a "hater" in your eyes.
I literally made my point clear and my intentions and this is how you respond? You either didn't read my post or purposefully chose not to listen.
This bit from the latest Micechat article got a chuckle out of me:
"We sure do hope the messaging about this ride shifts to the good stuff soon because guests walking by these construction walls are confused. We heard more than one family talking about how upset they were that one of their favorite rides was being replaced by a restaurant."
We can and will keep going.

It simply means this is the circle we will continue to go in.Lol what does this even mean? I feel like this is bigger than Splash Mountain/ TBA for you.
I’m just impressed by the attention to detail with the authentic 1930’s graphic design and fonts.View attachment 721531
This logo and signage is the only thing shown on the construction walls on either coast. The "TIANA'S FOODS - EMPLOYEE OWNED Coming Soon" sign and the "Southern Dome Salt Company" company logo stamped onto the walls.
There appears to be no other communication or attempt at announcing a new ride based on Tiana coming to the space.
They shut down Splash Mountain and are replacing it with a restaurant - a reasonable assumption based on the communication.

Yes, clearly I am not actually looking to listen and everyone is indeed a hater. Okay then. I read your message very clearly, multiple times, actually. I stand by what I said. Some of you are irrational in your responses. We will both continue to share our thoughts.

Maybe it would be healthy to take a break? Don't mean this in an insulting way.If that were true, I would be responding to everyone who has expressed criticism regarding the announcements. I haven't, because not all of them have been irrational. I've only called out the ones that are ridiculous, and they've been coming from the same posters (*hint* you're one of them).
We can and will keep going.
