Yeah, that’s why I said “likely.” We don’t know for sure.Who knows?
The Mandalorian, Grogu, Boba Fett, Darth Vader (maybe) will be seen in Galaxy's Edge.
They should not limit themselves to adhere to a timelines anyway...

It sounds cringy... But what if Mama Ode does it? The tree is her house in the concept art. (Which... now that I mention it, even with the Loa/Facilier that is odd...why are they taking us up TO Ode... but anyway)Just thinking about this logically, doesn’t Dr Facilier have to be in there considering the nature of the drop and the length of that final lift hill? If not him it’ll have to be some other danger, evil, etc..
What else could possibly work going up that hill? Humor? No? The Louis plot line? No “Louis you re almost there keep reaching reach reach, OMG we re faallllllinnnng.” No
So there has to be some element of danger or conflict and I can’t see them inventing something new over the popular bad guy from the original film. I guess it could also be the “ghouls” that pulled him to the other side but even that is watered down non sense.
I hope you lot keep up with these dumb "hypothesis's" of how this turns out. It's honestly the most entertaining part of these threads and actually got me to laugh a few timesJust thinking about this logically, doesn’t Dr Facilier have to be in there considering the nature of the drop and the length of that final lift hill? Lastly if we give credence to the Louis plot line (and I’m not sure I do) than we have to give the same amount of credence to Dr Facilier being in the ride as they were both mentioned by Jim Hill in the same conversation. He’s apparently going to be on the lift hill in shadow form where Brer Fox is now and they re going to put some sort of battle between him and a Mama Odie AA. Granted, I wouldn’t bet on any of it. Not necessarily because it’s Jim Hill but because it was so early on that I doubt they had any concrete plans. Even if he was spilling the beans on possible concepts from WDI

What if the plot is similar to the movie and guests are trying to find her home in the bayou for some reason or another. I could even see her and the flamingos singing the "Are you ready?" part in a less foreboding tone. Especially with modern Disney. I could elaborate on it as it's something I thought about a while back.
There's also the chance that this will just be a different thing entirely and won't follow Splash Mountain's plot structure. Which is very sad as it's layout is very "literal" in that regard.

I think they can easily come up with some reason for why his spirit has returned to attack Tiana and Louis during the ride. The ride will take place after the movie. Given that Dr. Facility is taken by his friends on the other side at the end of the movie, he likely won’t be in the ride.
The final drop will not be put in a scary context like it is now, but rather a celebratory drop into the celebration. That's my guess.
the cringe I just felt in the depths of my soul....."Oh we have to get you back to the city for the parade! I know a short cut!" Mama Ode then tosses you into the Briar Patch.
This is so bad they'd do it."Oh we have to get you back to the city for the parade! I know a short cut!" Mama Ode then tosses you into the Briar Patch.
If the ride isn't going to have a villian and we're dropping from around her treehouse I really can't think of how they can work the drop into the story.the cringe I just felt in the depths of my soul.....
This is my Villain Era, I am the retheme villain. If the ride isn't going to have a villian and we're dropping from around her treehouse I really can't think of how they can work the drop into the story.
I’m on dark mode so everything shows up that way. What’s odd is seeing the rest of the tweet with a white background!Ah black background and white text, must be a real source then.
The Disneyland Laughing Place I haven't seen look decent since maybe 2011. Thats the last time I remember the jumping water, weasels popping out, and spinning boat working. What is in worse condition, wdw or disneyland splash? The wdw version is in horrendous condition.
