Thumper is scheduled to start meet n greets starting October 4th. He will be appearing at Animal Kingdom.

Great news! Too bad he won't be in MK (for us on our upcoming trip, at least). Hopefully we get to see him on a following trip. Any idea how long he'll be out, or is it indefinite at this point?

I still have my Thumper stuffed animal I git back in 1985 from Disney. It will be nice to finally get a picture with him. My goal is to have a picture taken with every character and make an album out of it.

I will never understand that. Guests freak when they see a duck or a rabbit, like they are something special.
