1. Three words....Winnie the Pooh

2. Lights, Motor, Action Stunt Show

3. People who don't know how to push strollers!!

In 2004 when I went to GradNite for my Senior trip in high school, the Winnie the Pooh ride was open but noone was going on it. My friend and I went on it b/c we felt bad for the cast members. They were waving and yelling, trying to get seniors on the ride lol.

I think the ride is cute...especially the bouncing Tigger part :)

A LOT of people have commented on the Turkey Legs. Some say they don't get them...and some people LOVE them.

I think it's all based upon where you're from. I'm from Louisiana...and to me...they are the WORST and FLAVORLESS meals at WDW.
If you're from somewhere where you're not used to as much seasoning, and spices...then they probably taste good to you. If they have any kind of seasoning at all...I can't taste it whatsoever! Aren't they injected with salt?!

I tried them based on the glowing testimonials on an UNWRAPPED TV special. They *were* tasty, but also very hot and hard to hold. I needed to grab my cup of cold soda every other bite to cool my fingers down!

I SAW THAT TOO  !!! That's the reason I tried them, but they tasted soooo bland to me. After attempting to eat it and only eating maybe...not even 1/4 of it...I threw it away. My brother did the same. Guess it's just me. I need to put Tony's Saceres (spelling may be wrong) on almost everything. I'm used to that good 'ole cajun flavor!

I should have put a disclaimer saying that I LOVE WALT DISNEY WORLD, but hey, wasn't it Walt Disney that said, "When I look at something, I always look for what it can improve on". If the parks never changed, I would be totally happy, but since they are ever changing place, I figured I'd make a few suggestions that I was passionate about. Whoever corrected me when I called the Tomorrowland Indy Speedway the Tomorrowland Transit Authority, thank you. And whoever rebuttled against my opinions on Mr. Toad & 20,000 Leagues... they can afford to fix that, it's the Walt Disney Company for god sake. As far as my opinions on character appearances, I just don't get it. And concerning the Magic Carpets of Aladdin, they could have installed a handi-capped friendly Dumbo and not made The Magic Carpets of Aladdin. And another thing, I feel that a Cruella De Vil and Mary Poppins themed ride (with the right premise) would hold b/c the movies have longer than others like Finding Nemo and Monsters, Inc. All of these movies are classic, but which ones have truly stood the test of time?:king:

I don't get...

1] why people hate cbj
2] why disney has to be so expensive
3] that dumbo like ride in ak
4] why people feel they look good with socks under their sandals
5] girls that wear heels in the parks

and i cant think of anything else at the moment...

 or when people post something that could be offensive or has an extreme point of view on a controversial subject then when someone disagrees with them, the first poster gets mad at the 2nd for starting a fight. :hammer:

I don't get why the tap water is so nasty at the Magic Kingdom.
The water in Central Florida is horrible in general. It doesn't bother me too much because I've never really experienced any other kind of water.

yes wdw is a fantastic place where its very easy to be happy... but sometimes there just isnt enough magic in the world to keep you from having a temporary lapse in happiness! last august me and my brother got in a fight almost to the point of punching each other over the ingredients of a burrito! (long story) but it happens. its incredibly hot down there, youre crammed in a hotel room with your family all week, you doing a lot of walking, its bound to happen that youre gonna start to get on each others nerves. but after a shower and a nap, everyone is fine! with young children its even easier to see how tantrums happen, even in wdw. but yes i will have to say that the unpleasantness goes away faster in wdw than anywhere else!:D

That's a fair point. Now, I want to hear about this burrito argument...:)

Niether Daffy or Donald could really fly well. It was kind of an ongoing joke is both of their shorts. Daffy was a MUCH better flyer than Donald.. he could actually fly. Donald never could as far as I can remember.

Its because of those huge fannies. Chip and Dale said it best, "Look, its the duck with the big !"

Haha my friend and I did the same thing one year later, I guess sr's would be embrasses by liking Pooh, and I also enjoyed tigger:D :p

Ok just as a side note if you really want to have some fun during the summer go sit in frontierland right before one of the day parades and watch the birds trying to steal turkey legs and stuff from people. They will sit on the lamppost and just look around until they spot some poor soul and then dive down infront of them and just go after them to get some good ol turkey leg. I was at MK two weeks ago and this little girl got the crap scared out of her by this bird about 3 times her size. Funniest thing I have ever seen at the park.

I have gotten used to it over the many trips I have taken to WDW. Now, I don't even think about the taste. Several times recently, I have gone with family and friends who do not go to WDW very much at all and they all commented about how horrible the water tasted and could not believe it when they saw me taking huge drinks of water at the water fountain.

The water is pretty bad but I still drink it.

People that behave as though they are the only guests in the park.

People that believe the ground at the parks doubles as a garbage can.

People that blame CMs for things completely out of their control.

What I don't understand is that Dumbo-like ride they put in adventure land. They already had two of those at Magic Kindgom. Plus it just made it even more crowded than it already was. Now, I really enjoy the Country Bears. Adventurer's Club is also really good. The Jungle Cruise is good. I think that people are desiring everything to be pure action. Although I know Walt wanted to be innovative, I don't think he wanted everything given to the people; imagination was key I'm sure. I try to take most of the rides for what they are. And I'm 18, so it's only the older generations that enjoy the slower paced attractions. That's my opinion.

I didn't say I didn't "get it" I DO get it. I just said what I would do, and was halfway being a wise
Ah okay, I missed the part of my quote you were actually responding to, you weren't really even talking about the pins  Anyway, I wasn't talking about you personally when I said "if you don't get it" I met the people who get mad at the public for buying them because they think it's a waste of money.

I don't get:
1. Why people don't like Country Bear Jamboree, Hall of Presidents (okay, I can see not liking part of the current version...), Tom Sawyer's Island, The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh, Snow White's Adventures, Stitch's Great Escape!, Wonders of Life, the films in World Showcase, or Sounds Dangerous!
2. Why people do/did like Test Track, Chester n' Hester's Dino-rama!, Tiki Room: Under New Management, Tarzan Rocks!, Aerosmith (the roller coaster itself is fine), Lights Motors Action!, The Magic Kingdom's Mr. Toad, Alien Encounter (except S.I.R. and Skippy...they were cool), the last two incarnations of Journey Into Imagination, and that sad Narnia walkthrough.
3. Turkey legs - The way people wander around gnawing sloppily on those things is just beyond disgusting. This isn't the Middle Ages. Keep it at a table and it's slightly less obnoxious.
4. Pin Trading - I buy pins, but I've been doing that since the early '80s. I prefer the older, larger, round pins. Besides, why buy a pin if you dislike it enough to trade it away?
5. The dumbing down of EPCOT (shorter rides emphasizing speed over story), and of course, the Wand.
6. That evil Hat hiding one of Disney World's best attractions and ruining the theming.
7. Pooh's Playful Spot - A few stumps and a tree? Very sad.
8. Alcohol at ANY Disney Park.
9. Why I can't go there more often. I add this because I want it understood that I do love the Parks, or else I wouldn't spend so much time dwelling on them and saving up to go to them. But, I'm not afraid to admit when Disney does something I don't care for or think could be improved on.
