The first view of SSE from the mono...Gives me chills EVERYTIME.

The SSE Ascent....Drifting up through the stars is a "moment" that I always treasure.

Seeing Figment

The Big Bang in UoE and it's score ALWAYS freaks me out.

AA-A intersection of my two passions! American History and EPCOT!:sohappy: It's patriotism, hope, and feeling makes me tear up everytime.

ROE. From the opening light cues to the Earth Barge unfurling, that show is 2nd to none. The score is one of the best produced by Disney or anyother entertainment venue.

My answer will totally pale in comparison to this. You brought tears to my eyes. Literally. I'm listening to Epcot music right now imagining all of the things you just described.

My favorite things about Epcot are...
1. the music
2. walking into The Land and feeling the gush of cold air in my face after being out in the warm June sunshine
3. sweet pretzels in Norway as the rest of the world walks by to leave at park closing
4. the smell of oranges on Soarin'
5. the shake of the Soarin' glider during the Disneyland fireworks
6. the hidden trolls in Norway
7. Figment
8. wandering through Mousegear for hours on end
9. buying maple products in Canada
10. Le Cellier
11. the Coral Reef
12. The Seas with Nemo and Friends
13. SSE - all of it
14. the Voices of Liberty
15. American Adventure
16. crying during RoE when I realize I won't see it again until my next trip (okay - I don't really like that but it's a strong Epcot feeling for me)
17. joking about how much it would suck to get stuck in the heat chamber on Test Track
18. riding TT during RoE
19. the tiles that change color in Future World
20. watching people drink the Beverly
21. yelling at my husband after he makes me ride M:S immediately after dinner (again not really a pleasant Epcot emotion but something that happens without fail every year)
22. eating cinnamon rolls in The Land
23. frozen strawberry drinks from the little stand near TT

As I write this list, I start to wonder why Epcot is tied with MGM as my least favorite park. (It comes in after the Magic Kingdom and AK.) Maybe I need to rethink my list.

LOVE THIS THREAD! I honestly just got all teary eyed reading this!! I love EPCOT and I agree with many about the feeling of walking around The World Showcase at dusk. I love walking right into the park and heading right onto SSE!! I love having dinner and drinks at the different countries in The World Showcase! I love going on The Land and seeing all the different plants and feeling the heat by the sun under the greenhouse glass! I love the anticipation of going on Soarin' and still getting nervous when the seats start to rise!! I love walking over the bridge and seeing France for the first time and stopping at the kiosk near the umbrella stand for a glass of wine!! I love when they announce "Only five minutes untill Illuminations," and the park starts getting darker and everyone rushes to find a good seat! I love the beginning of Illuminations when the narrator blows out the candle (lights) and the music begins!!! I love the different colors on SSE at dark! There is so many other things I loved about EPCOT, but there are just too many to list!!! The best park by far!!:sohappy::sohappy::sohappy::sohappy::sohappy:

The first time you walk through the automatic doors and see the massive interior of The Land.

Catching your first glimpse of the Imagination Pavillion.

Making that important decision on whether to begin your tour of WS in Mexico or Canada.

The night time light up sidewalk designs in FW.

Impressions de France.

I was wondering when these would come up! Future World is my favorite place in WDW and for some reason those sidewalk designs are one of my favorite little touches. I always have to watch them for a while and listen to the music in the area =)

I'd like to add to my original statement that when I'm there next (3 weeks from today for my bday, which is the best present to myself ever), I'll be looking forward to the EMH, my first ever trek on Listen to/Living with the Land at night, trying drinks and food in each country of WS that I've never had before, the Kim Possible game, and checking out the SSE descent for conspiracy theory updates...

:D :sohappy:

This sounds hokey, but.

Just outside of Innoventions, between Innoventions and the Land, by where they put up the stage at times, that spot IS WDW to me.

I have no idea why. Nothing has happend to me there (that I know of) but that spot, with the surroundings, and the music defines WDW to me.

I can be in the MK, DHS, the WS, AK, anywhere else on property and its all good and fun, but when I am in that area I get this feeling of "I am here" that I get nowhere else.

Strange, maybe, but thats just how it is.

Well...all of it.

Something I'm looking forward to on my next trip (that I've never done before) is "sampling" beers around World Showcase. I only became a beer snob....errr enthusiast recently. ;)

I shouldn't leave out that I look forward to riding SSE very much. It's the first attraction I see on every trip!
