I am really looking forward to Wishes and Fantasmic, we missed both of them last year due to an extreme amount of rain (Tropical Storm Fay). Also looking forward to eating at a couple new restaurants.

I am really looking forward to that feeling I always get when we first arrive and pull up to our resort. It's such a great feeling to know the vacation has just begun. And even though it has been a year since we were there last it always feels like no time has past at all and that I am home.

We leave in three weeks, and I'm looking forward to our first stay at the Grand Floridian Sugar Loaf Club. On our previous visits, we've always stayed at the Poly. We love the Poly but couldn't get it for the 35% off special on club level they were offering.

The thing I most look forward to is walking into Epcot that first time, hearing the music, walking onto Spaceship Earth and then to Test Track. Always in that order and then we know we are There again!!!

I always love to start at the MK, but this September it will be extra special as we are talking DB who has not been there since 1976  Oh, yes, 33 years; it's hard for some of us to imagine!! Right now it is still a surprise for him, we're not sure when we are going to tell him. At any rate being present when my big brother turns into a marshmallow at his first glimpse of Main Street USA - priceless. And then it's off to the first ride of the day, PotC.

I don't have any children, but I completely understand. Everytime I walk into MK for the first time, and I see the castle, I tear up. That's what I love about Disney...no other place I can think of has the ability to turn grown adults into mush.

Wishes

it always gives me goose bumps

Wishes always makes me teary eyed! I am looking forward to this the most this trip because it is the first time my hubby will be at WDW and I can't wait to watch it with him!

Aside from that, I look forward the most to eating in all the restaurants (especially San Angel Inn). It's my favorite part. Also, it is not officially a Disney vacation until I have had my Citrus Swirl in Adventureland.

Oh me too!!! I also love looking around and seeing everyone's reaction to the fireworks....(Makes me think "god if only Walt could see these faces now" 1 I get so emotional watching wishes no matter how many times I've seen it.

I always look forward to feeling like a kid again and being able to forget about grown-up problems even if it's only for a week. I also look forward to spending time with my extended family that lives in Fla. and meets us at Disney.

There is a big difference between Disney enthusiasts and those who do not understand why we are like this. It is called sitting back and taking it all in, all the small things. Not just going on the rides( you can do that at any park) it is all about the atmosphere and taking a step out of reality. That is why we tend to find those places to sit back and enjoy everything that is around us. Dont get me wrong though the rides and parades and fireworks are all outstanding.

I so agree with you !!! As the quote states- Life is not measured by the number of breaths we takebut by the moments that take our breath away. - Hilary Cooper

That says so much to me even being in Disney. That folks run & rush to the next ride and they some time miss what Walt was really trying to accomplish by building the parks.

There are quite a few things that I look forward to when visiting WDW:

  1. Seeing the sign that says, "Welcome to WDW!"
  2. Checking into our resort because it just feels that you're "official here" and that your vacation has started.
  3. Arriving at the first park of your vacation. DH and I either pick Epcot as our first park or MK.
  4. Walking down MS:USA and seeing Cinderella's Castle.
  5. Hearing the park music always gets to me.
  6. The food...gotta love the food at WDW.
  7. Going the "must do" rides/attractions.
  8. Seeing Eeyore and Donald Duck.
  9. Just being able to forget your problems and just feeling like a kid.

That's all I can think of right now.

When we go we just stay in the resort for the first night,do a bit of swimming, unpack, check out the shop & grab a bite to eat,so the 1st full day we have, we always go to DHS. Thats what i look forward to, not landing in florida,or seeing the WDW sign, not even passing TOT on our way to our resort,no just simply getting off the bus at DHS and hearing the music, standing in line while the guards go through our bags, picking out certain scents that you cant get anywhere else, dont care how long we wait its the anticipation of what lies on the other side. Then when we get in........Home

This next trip, I'm most looking forward to seeing WDW all decked out in its holiday attire for the first time.
But I usually look forward to walking into Epcot/under SSE for the first time. It gives me chills just thinking about it =)
