Don't forget that the just rehabbed the EPCOT model. Seems as though as the first phase of the FLE (yes, I expect more) winds down they are turning their attention to Tomorrowland.

Some very interesting possibilities.

Could Star Wars content be on the way?

Could Stitch and Monsters be on the way out?

Could elements of Brad Bird's "Tomorrowland" find a place in the MK?

What about Tron?

The possibilities seem endless.

Unfortunately I dont see monsters going anywhere anytime soon.

That is a shame. It would be one of the easier attractions to relocate. And perfect for the studios if they ever expand Pixar Place.

Thanks for posting this thread. It's one of those things that I looked at and knew something was missing but couldn't put my finger on it. Glad they're back. Although I'd rather see something more futuristic and less industrial for Tomorrowland some day.

During the 2009 refurb I didn't understand why the exterior wasn't addressed,

I still don't know why the majority of the interior and ride experience weren't addressed.

Exactly nothing was really done during that refurb except the interactive que, weren't they supposed to give us the onboard audio and update the track to make it match disneylands? If they did that then we would have been able to have the halloween layover which I hear is awesome.

They would have updated the track but not to match DL. DL only has one track MK has two.

But would the layout been similar? Either way nothing really happened and im not sure why, im sure that track is in need of some serious updating.

the lighting package on SM will be addressed during the exterior refurb.. the current package has seen better days, and water Is becoming a nuisance to the individual fixtures..

Expect an LED lighting package, capable of color phasing and individual lamp control.. (like Cindy's, SSE, etc)
