Glad they didn't bring back Todrick Hall for this one. Disney's Anniversary songs should be handled carefully.Orchestra and choir?
Thumbs up.
I was terrified they'd go the "Mickey's Mix Magic" route.

It's better to save the rest of the song for future ads that might occur later this month or September.I wish we could have heard a snippet of the song though!

I know "Magic Happens" wasn't an anniversary song. I'm saying that I'm glad they didn't pick another trendy pop star to compose the 50th Anniversary song. Especially knowing Disney's recent trend at adding pop music to some of their shows in recent years.magic happens wasn't an anniversary song
The limited things restricted to in-park only, I’m already dreading the impending sticker shock for anything I end up wanting. I live nowhere near Florida and am too high risk to chance a vacation down there at this time.I don't have specifics, but rest assured that there is a lot more 50th merchandise coming.
A lot more....as I mentioned previously.
Some of it will be released in small collections to drum up interest for marketing purposes.
Next wave hits August 25th from what I remember .....
And I fully expect certain items to only be availible for purchase in the Park on 'the Big Day'.

Then after said event they get Auctioned off for rediculous amounts of cash for the die-hard collector....Does anyone else think these are just kinda odd. Basically you are just taking each character, its not a new character. Then you paint it gold. hmm

That was only a snippet of the song, I would reserve judgement until the full song is heard.Hope this new song is catchy and really good considering it will be played all over the place for 18 months. I personally would prefer something upbeat and fun, but not getting those vibes at all from that clip.
Remember the Magic lives on to this day, in Believe in Holiday Magic! at Disneyland. The last time we had a milestone anniversary theme some it was everywhere and just as you thought you got away from it fantasy in the sky ends it’s first segment and now “it’s time to remember”. That song didn’t finally go away until 2002. It wasn’t bad but they played it so much.
And “Magic Happened” (for a few weeks)Remember the Magic lives on to this day, in Believe in Holiday Magic! at Disneyland.
