The Walt Disney Company brands, franchises, and offerings survey, including The Simpsons

💯 this is a “survey” designed to aide in the negotiations.

My guess is they give up the IP in totality for Marvel rights in WDW.
I meant Iger is gonna extend himself…

But if Comcast wants to keep the Simpsons…more power to them.

By the way…Disney wants the marvel rights far less than Comcast wants to sell them. It’s worth maybe half what it was 5 years ago before they started to tank MCU
Takes two to play and that is a solo game

I don't think the audience they're marketing The Simpsons to at this point is even the people who watch the show. I consider myself a big Simpsons fan and I've watched maybe five episodes of the series produced in the last decade. You market The Simpsons to the Gen Xers and Millennials who remember most of the words to the monorail song and the Mr. Plow jingle. I would wager this was true even when Universal first opened Springfield. Its been coasting on the success it had in the 90s for the last 25 years.

Simpsons are a Disney property now. I have no issue with it as it fits the parks no worse than everything else they are adding. They are a Mish Mash now with no theme to them.
So it’s ok continuing to add whatever wherever since it fits the park no worse than everything else they are adding?

That is exactly the type of customers Bob wants. Just keep supporting, going, and paying them no matter what.
