Dividend Growth stocks are usually the way to go. And the S&P500 is up about 40 something percent over a past number of years.

Apple is unique in terms of business structure compared to other large companies. Disney, like the vast majority of large companies, is organized by business units. Apple is organized by functional expertise, just like a startup company. There isn’t anybody at Apple in charge of iPhone development and there isn’t an “iPhone team.” There’s a SVP of hardware engineering and a hardware engineering team. SVP of software engineering and a software engineering team. Etc.I'm still confused at how a sale to Apple makes any sense unless they bought the whole farm. Sure they'd love the content library and control of Disney plus, but how are you going to spin off Parks and Entertainment without having a semi-permanent licensing deal for your IP that already exists in the parks. Then at that point, you leave some other company in control of how good or bad your properties are represented.
Apple doesn't do that. They control the whole ecosystem so each piece fits together, absent the occasional antitrust ruling ;P. I just don't think parks and/or resorts fits very well with the rest of what they do. And for those reasons, Apple [is?] out
Incorporating Disney into Apple‘s business structure would not make sense, in my opinion. Therefore, I’m doubtful Apple has much interest in acquiring Disney. There’s a reason Apple much prefers to acquire startup companies.

Yes! Beer carts there too! I mean they do it outside of ballparks. Disney Springs was the OG of Ballpark Villages. These nerds that broke the world with dynamic pricing just need to understand the more alcohol, bad food and souvenirs you can buy at even the walkways will translate into money upon money. Again, problem solved and I will expect a thank you form the BOD later,

I would also have made a casino with a sports book on some swamp water. I mean that is what us midwestern folks do, if it’s on a puddle and call it “river gambling” it’s morally ok. Put a puddle of water in each parking lot a casino on top of it and money made!

I didn't bother with the parking lot portable kiosks out in the hot sun since I was relaxing in my MK cabana.

As MisterPenguin alluded, it rivaled the Tomorrowland Cabanas in an effort to be the tackiest money-grab attempted by management.
I've tried to find a photo but it's as if the internet was scrubbed of all evidence.
It was an entirely unthemed golf concessions cart worse looking than the ones they actually use on the golf courses that would stop and set up shop at the tram loading areas out in the lot for people coming in. It had poor college program kids following along holding the pricing signs.
I think I'd mused at the time that next up for a money making plan was cast that would spit on your windshield when you parked and then quickly wipe it down and tell you that you owed the mouse $10 for getting your windows cleaned.

Domestic Parks and Resorts are really sticky. I can guarantee you that no matter what Bob the Elder does to this company, you will rather have control of domestic P&R in the hands of an independent Disney than pretty much any other alternative. A buyer would accelerate anti-guest practices to levels beyond comprehension to accelerate their RoI. Or worse, it gets sold out to a sovereign wealth fund. It doesn't seem to me to be congruent with Apple's corporate business philosophy and makeup. They are in the software and hardware industry and streaming with Apple TV, but no aspect of their business is in the theme park industry.

We've had parking price increases, premium parking, massively overpriced EV charging, and now Disney has found a new way to make money in the parking lots. What's next, PhotoPass in the parking lot? And yes, the poor CM's are holding menus and showing them to the passers buy.
