I'm hoping a flat-ride but not a ferris wheel. I was expecting something like Mad Tea Party

I think that'd be alright. It's cool enough that the area is getting so much - a ferris wheel is just a bonus and fits with the Krustyland area. I'd hope it'd be a decent size with some area theming.

The good news about a ferris wheel would be that it would be another attraction, that shouldn't really cost that much, and shouldn't really take up a lot of space, so the expansion pad behind Simpsons/Kidzone could remain basically the size it is now! But, hopefully, it wouldn't close off access to the pad itself.

I still think that a Dreamworks land (although I guess because the rest of the park is based on locations, you would have to have "The Kingdom of Far Far Away", "Madagascar", "Valley of Peace" and "Berk/The Island of Berk" - Dreamworks Animation's four franchises - could they all blend together visually? I've only properly seen Shrek/2/3 and parts of Madagascar/Kung Fu Panda) would be a nice addition to Kidzone, although it would be for the whole family. Looking at Universal Singapore, they have

Shrek 4D Adventure (move Shrek 4D to Far Far Away)
Donkey Live
Enchanted Airways (we have Woody Woodpecker)
Magic Potion Spin (we could have new Simpsons Ferris Wheel)
Madagascar: A Crate Adventure
King Julien's Beach Party-Go-Round (could leave out as there is a carousel in IOA)

What could they do for Kung Fu Panda/HtTyD?

Visited universal today....fantastic job with all the new paint in Seuss Landing. Also noticed new lighting effects in The Cat In the Hat...

Also a new beginning and ending video on Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey. Works better than what they used to have.

Spider-Man....noticed new lighting decals in the Scoops and scoop diagnostic panel in vehicle.

Very curious to see what happens near the Simpsons...

By this do you mean when your travelling through the brick wall thing (not sure real name) because I always hoped they'd fix that.

Yep. It used to be a travelling through brick chimney simulation. Now it's a glowing green blob that follows your bench, as if the green lit smoke effect on take off is following you.
We called it the 'winamp' effect since it looks like an audio players visualisation screen.

Cool, that was a much needed change. I had a hard time telling what was actually supposed to be happening in that part.

It's much better. Though it doesn't seem to fill up the entire screen, which is a bit wonky.

Hmmm. I wish I could see this. I'm having a hard time deciphering what this is supposed to look like.

Anyways, I'm sure it's better than the "chimney" thing. I never understood that part.

Technically, yes, you're going into a chimney since you are using Floo Powder.

Whole scene. Physical smoke effect to Winamp projection to physical show set. IMHO it's more seamless and less of a jar from screen to set than it used to be.

As soon as Hermoine says "Observatory" you're off...with the greenish yellowish magical powder or whatever whisking you away. It fits better than the chimney effect originally used.

Hey All. Sounds interesting! I'm excited to know what expansions are coming for the Simpsons area. IDK If it's just me but Men in Black is going to seem completely out of Place once everything is done!

I'm sure down the road there will be more cohesive theming added near MIB to keep things up to par.

While I absolutely loved classic Universal Studios, I'm very excited to see the new Universal in the next 3-5 years!

N.E.S.T. is the military branch shown in the Transformers movies, so this shop/restaurant will be TF themed.
