The TTA Update

That actually would be an okay idea. They could have sales and ads for various places/things in Tomorrowland. Expand the creativity.

I think that could be very cool - that is an addition I wouldn't mind at all. It could be very funny and tongue-in-cheek.

Or, perhaps as a precursor to the what's coming up in Tomorrowland, maybe they could show "Buy N Large" ads? :lookaroun

Love this idea. They have some pretty clever ads. And it would fit the TTA too. Just so they keep their hands off the E.P.C.O.T. model!

I like it. Its sort of remmensisant of a "hair salon of the future" concept from the 50s.

I like the concept, I just think they should make those sets more elaborate. There are only a couple show scenes intended directly for tta, and they're all pretty cheesy. I think the color scheme is rather poor, and it's really just cheap. They could add some small detailed show scenes and really make it into a high class attraction. I dare to dream of the tta as an E ticket.

Is there a reason they never removed them?

I believe the one on the left-hand side of the track was covered over because it looked into Dreamflight's "rotating jet engine" effect scene. Originally it looked into a more interesting scene in "If You Had Wings". That rotating effect is still essentially the same in Buzz, so they keep it covered up.

(But how cool would it be to re-work that scene so that the windows were uncovered, the rotating effect was either different or gone so it didn't blind the TTA riders, and the Buzz riders got points if they hit some kind of target on the passing TTA cars?)

and I get a shudder that 22 years from now the same curtains will be up in spaceship earths descent.
I hope though the TTA keeps the original walt disneys city model, I love that old thing.

I'd be happy if they removed that clunking SSE-ish noise from the track. What is up with that?

I hear ya!

Imagine adding to that, you get a car with a bad wheel...

Sccccrrrraaaaaapppppeeeeclunkscrapeclunkclunkscrappeclunksprappppeeee

for the whole ride.

I told the CM at unload about it having a bad wheel and I might as well have told him the flux capacitor was on the fritz...just nothing...like showing a dog a card trick.

I have had very similar CM experiences.

The new TTA naration will be done by Stitch!

I sure hope they don't change it at all except for making it smooth.

Surely there would be problems with the lasers in riders eyes.....

But adverts and touch screens would be very cool indeed. Could really have some "Imaginative" ideas from the Imagineers, even some adverts with hidden mentions of old rides and imagineers...

Um is that for real or a joke, I am hoping the latter. Otherwise welcome to Stitchland goodbye tomorrowland.

I'm sure it was a joke. But would anyone here REALLY be surprised if it happened? I didn't think so

Rocketrods:rolleyes: Speaking of Stitch. I sort of enjoyed that attraction. But after hearing all the negativity about it on these boards I had very low expectations.
