What's something you've heard a CM say? Mean, uninformed, weird, funny, cool, nice, or makes your eyes roll.:ROFLOL:Something that just really stuck with you.

And I hope no one would be downright mean and that those CMs that are here would have a laugh as I'm sure they have coworkers that they feel aren't the brightest, are extremely funny, plays into the magic well, or is a good source of some light funny banter.

Would be no different than the thread on the funny/rediculous things we overhear other guests say. Those people may come to this site as well.

Please keep it anonymous and light.

I remember some random girl coming up and asking this ToT cm if it was a real hotel and if people stayed here(we were waiting for the library doors to open) And he said, yes. The girl was like, "See I told you." I looked at him and smiled and said this isn't a real hotel, and he was like I know but it makes it easier.

BTW, his name was James, he was white, about 5ft10 and should be reprimanded. Lol, jk. Can't remember his name as it was years ago.

My favorite CM conversation was this:

"Jake, Splash Mountain is NOT closed." (Sister)
"Orly." (Me)
*walks over to CM*

"Pardon me, is Splash Mountain open?"
"Yes, this section of the park opens at 9am."
"...But there's a construction crane over it, and it's scheduled for refurbishment."
"Yes, this section of the park opens at 9am."
"You really don't see that? *points*"
"Everything should be open at 9am! :)"

I had to go to 2 more CM's to prove to my sister that Splash Mountain was under refurbishment, haha.

I still love the time on our last January trip when we saw a guest walk up to a CM around Imagination and asked if riding Figment was better than Honey I shrunk the Audience and she said no to the guest

on our last trip, we were loading onto a bus. My son uses a chair so he used the ramp t get in. The driver, at first, just said lock his brakes. I said, "Um, no. He needs to be tied down." The guy lets out this long sigh but proceeds to use the tie downs. My sons chair has big black loops for bus tie downs with a white symbol pointing to them on the frame. He puts one loop on the cloth basket underneath. I had to correct him. When he was done, he goes to walk away. "Excuse me, sir. What about the seatbelt?" "Do you really want to use the seatbelt?" "Uh, yeah because he's 5 and that's how his chair is crash tested for busses." Another long sigh. My husband just kinda rolled his eyes. Another guest (lady using a scooter) said well it's a good thing you did some research. We kinda just laughed about it. Someone was just not having a good morning.:)

One thing that was cool. We were on the sidelines for the midday parade at MK. Madam Tremaine and the stepsisters are coming down the parade route. In the middle of their dancing, one sister caught siight of my kids. She came over making a big exclaimation over my youngest's hairbows. She calls over the other sister and Madam T and they all three kinda broke character talking about the bows, one saying something about getting her kid/niece some. They continued down the parade route. That just kinda made both DH and I laugh.:p

One weird one
You know how crazy seating at Fantasmic can be. Well, a CM took us to the left to the end to get a WC spot. But, when we got to the end, they were full. The CM stood there going uhhhh then just turned and walked away leaving us. We went back to the beginning and went to the right side. The very first WC spot was open which was only about 15ft away from the starting point. I'm guessing somebody was new:rolleyes::lol:

The BEST CM exp we've had
DH, my parents, my brother and I were discussing who was going to take my older 2 on the tea cups. We weren't in line yet, just standing off to the side near the exit. Suddenly, Alice appears. She smiles at us and squats down to talk to my oldest dd. She, then, asked could she take her and her brother on the tea cups. Sure! When the ride stopped, she signaled the ride guys and walked my kids right onto the ride and took them on the teacups. My kids were on cloud 9! Other people were pointing  and wanting to do it, too. When the ride was over, she brought them back to us and took photos with the kids. She gave my kids their time before saying anything to the others. When she was done, she said hello to a few more kids and waved goodbye and went "home." We all just stood there with our jaws open.

And now some nice things:

On the day of my birthday I was in Fantasyland, and the line for Pan was an hour. I sighed, and went to get FastPasses for near closing, and a CM approached me and swapped FastPasses with me so I had them for now!

Also, just randomly I was getting Ice Cream at the Main Street Parlor (forget the name), and I got a dream cone, which surprised me a lot.

JC CM's are great as well, I couldn't explain how happy I was when I came on near closing and heard "Hey, we were just swapping credit card numbers, what's yours?"

It's the little things that matter.

One of the rare days when Pocahontas was out in Frontierland in Disneyland...she was the most beautiful character I ever saw, almost fake looking...well my sister was fascinated by her and asked her what color her lipstick was and she answered.."Well I crush up some berries and other things from the forest...."
My sister was trying so hard to get her to answer because she really did love her lipstick, but Pocahonats would NOT even budge! Great acting and so into her role!

I still remember my first trip to WDW and I was going around getting pennies from the penny press machines.

I was on my way to the one of the resorts and I asked the bus driver what stop to get off at to get to them and he said "I don't know learn your f**king bus stops".

Couldn't believe my ears needless to say I made sure to look at bus number (since I couldn't see his name) and walked right to the front desk. Filed my complaint made sure I told them the bus number so they could pick up right who the bus driver was to speak to him.

Actions not words

Our very first trip and we were such rookies we went to the Hoop-De-Doo and had no idea how to get back to SOG. We were at the bus stop, a bus driver saw our confusion invited us on his bus and took us right to the end of the SOG drive. Above & beyond IMHO!!!

I hear lots of things CMs say, but then again, I am a CM, so that makes a lot of sense. I'd post the crazy things guests say, but that's not appropriate for this site...

On the "Behind the Magic" tour several guests asked the tour guides "How many..."

"How many Tinkerbell's are there"
"How many people play Belle in the Beauty & the Beast show"
"How many Cinderella's are there"

On and on throughout the day...

In each and every case, the tour guide simply stated that there is only one. Never wavering on that answer.

There is only one. That's the answer.

Technically speaking, that's not true. There IS only one Belle, but there several people who can portray Belle.

Right.
I was actually a little surprised since the tour is for 17+ if I'm remembering correctly. We all know the reality and have had other "magic" revealed throughout the day.

None the less... I think the  moment was finding out how much it costs to custom make the character clothing for shows (not characters out and about, but the costumes for actors in a show). That and how frequently they're turned over.
