I don't see Zootopia fitting into Animal Kingdom at all. Sure the entire movie is based on animals but AK is a very nature-centric park for the most part. A modern, fictional city, to me, would feel very out of place and incompatible with the rest of the park's theme.

I might be okay with it at Rafiki's but I would rather focus on real/mythological animals and not cartoon animals. Especially cartoon animals from a movie about racism.

I would like to see a Jungle Book dark ride More than that, I would really like an original attraction along the lines of Mystic Manor. Unfortunately, Disney will be happy with AK after Avatar opens and I fear AK will be waiting for the Epcot fixes to be completed before it gets looked at again in 6 or 7 years.

A new family friendly area at AK would be great fit for the characters from Bambi and Brother Bear. The area could be like the former Camp Minnie Mickey but is themed inside a huge forest.

I'd love to see a North America area. I'd also love to see another Asian walk through.

In terms of kiddy areas though, I think that should be Dinorama, it just needs to be redone.

Not that "fitting in" seems to be a big deal for Disney anymore.

Cars Land takes place in Arizona (I think) but they still put in DCA. I see what you mean.

I think pretty any IP would fit at DHS.

True anything could fit but could be a better fit elsewhere. Etc nemo in the seas makes sense even though it isn't good there and would be a better fit in DHS

I've been hearing James Bond is up for grabs. That would be ironic if they landed that IP after closing LMA - would have been a nice fit.

True that would be a great fit and keeps with the theme of action and adventure. It's also a very well known ip and is fairly popular among most ages that aren't kids.

The only thing that could be really LOL is getting the theme park rights to Star Trek I'm a big Star Wars fan but not to the extreme that some fans are now a days. That would get people talking.
Lord of the Rings was rumored a while back but the Grandkids are watching for Christopher Tolken to kick the bucket to cash in on that IP.
I like the hints here and there. Dangling the carrot.

Maybe it's Bond, though I hope not. Under the fast cars and gadgets there's nothing family friendly or admirable going on there.

If it's a dark ride e ticket non thrill then it probably isn't bond. Bond comes across as more of a thrill ride imho

Can you imagine the hissy fit the religious right would throw? I think it'd be worth it just to see that! The Southern Baptists might even reinstate their boycott. After all, it worked so well the first time.

They can't put anything behind Everest without having to finish the exterior of the mountain on that side. So, "not gonna happen, wouldn't be prudent at this time".
