Flow. The themes should still flow.
It's gonna be kinda hard for the themes to flow in that park. Toy Story right into Star Wars and the front half of the park is classic Hollywood. It's a mish mash of themes anyway. As long as the lands are well done and the site lines are properly setup so I don't see the slinky dog coaster in SW Land or the giant SW mountains from Toy Story Land.

I imagine if people can go up in the SWL mountains they could see all of DHS.

From the concept art, it looks like you can see SWL from the coaster. :(

Look. I know I said I would stop talking about Cars Land, but I found out something that is a possibility. I do admit now Star Wars Land will go in Streets of America and LMA, but I found out that Cars Land would fit perfectly in the picture below where Echo Lake/ Indiana Jones/ American Idol building/ Star Tours (yes. Star Tours will probably be moved to SWL) . I bet the reason why they continue to let Muppet Courtyard still run is because they are saving it for phase 3 to hold the show room for RSR. My guess is Echo Lake/ Indiana Jones/ American Idol building/ Star Tours will close in early 2018 around the time TSL will probably opens. Sorry for the bad cropping.

I am forwarding this plan to Bobby Iger!

In all seriousness, if phase 3 isn't announced at the D23 2017, they've scrapped it.
Not true. Like I said before there is a lot of stuff opening on both coasts before phase 3. They have more than enough stuff to talk about. The hype machine will be in full force for SW land. No point hyping something that won't open for 3 or 4 more years.

It's just concept art. It's not meant to show you the actual blueprint for the land. Concept art is intended to give you an artists rendering of the feel for a specific area. It's more about generating an emotional response to the area in question than actually laying out the architectural plans of the land. I'm sure that if SW land has rock work similar to Avatar it will be difficult or impossible to hide from the rest of the park. Seeing the back side of a mountain is much less visually intrusive than seeing the millennium falcon or actual scenery from the land.

I'm guessing they focus DHS's fans hype on SWL and TSL this year. They announce most of the details about the two lands this year, and save phase 3 hype for next year when it's announced.

Look at recent history. We have very few details on Avatar Land and it opens next year. Disney won't give a lot of details and crank up the hype machine too early for fear that people will put off visits until the new stuff opens. I don't expect a whole lot of details on SW land on either coast for a few years. The rides in Toy Story Land are pretty much known at this point. There could be a few little surprises but there isn't much left to reveal.

Seeing the Falcon, or any part of SWL could still be construed as seeing just more of Andy's 'toys' off in the distance. Sort of like seeing the alien terrain in the TV episode, 'Toy Story - The Land That Time Forgot'

But Pixar isn't really a theme.
But it's a studio, which fits the theme of a studios theme park. LucasFilm is also a studio and can be a larger section of the park that includes Star Wars Land and Indiana Jones.

Marvel is also a studio and would be perfect for Phase 3, but we won't go there...

If it's Disney, it could. How long is Avatar taking from announcement to the latest projected opening? How long did Fantasyland Expansion take? How long did DCA 2.0 take?

Avatar Land is opening next year. 2011-2017. That took 6 years. Fantasyland Expansion took 2009-2013. 4 years. And DCA's Makeover and Expansion took 2007-2012. 5 years. DHS's Expansion should probably take 5 years. Why? Because of the proof I provided above. Even Shanghai Disneyland didn't take more than 5 years to complete. They'll get things done reasonably.
