Trip Report The Story Comes ALIVE! *COMPLETED*

Hello again, my friends.

For nearly a decade it has been such a joy for me to write about 50 (yes, 50!) different trips that I have taken to WDW - including one that was virtual. ;)

The reason? You, the reader.

I don’t do trip reports for my own documentation. I have journals for that. I write because I love interacting with y’all. Your encouragement, humor, curiosity and even snark (*ahem* @amjt660) assure me that I am not alone in my crazy affection for Disney parks. A big thanks to each of you!

I am very fortunate to be a frequent visitor to WDW (despite what @Mr Ferret 88 believes, I do not live there!) and am entering a season of monthly visits. Trip reporting is time consuming (as those of you who’ve written can attest) but I’m not ready to completely give it up - yet.

What I’d like to do is keep this as an ongoing TR for the rest of 2023. It will be highlights and moments, with live posting as the goal. My story coming alive, so to speak.

First up is spring break with my favorite girl.

Followed closely by a getaway with my favorite guy.

There will be Magician meets. New experiences. And (as always) the unexpected.

I hope you’ll join the fun!

Em wasn’t feeling “fatty meats” for lunch so we cancelled our reservation at Roundup Rodeo in favor of an old standby.

We arrived about ten minutes prior to opening. Because we were first in line, Em deemed it “Arty Rizzo.”

She chose the Banquet Hall as our dining location. I think she prefers listening to party tunes rather than Italian crooning!

Yes this is just sauce, cheese and toppings on Boboli. It’s still pretty tasty and it hit the spot!

Four headliner attractions and a character meet - plus lunch - in a little over three hours.

The sun was out and it was HOT.

We ignored the rolling clouds and decided to head back to WL for a swim.

While on the bus we heard thunder. By the time we’d arrived at the Lodge the pools had closed.

But we had a Plan B. A sweet treat from Roaring Fork and catching up on a guilty pleasure reality show.

We shared a campfire cupcake in our breakfast nook.

We delighted in a blindside on the reality show.

As a light but steady rain fell for the next couple hours.

Monday, con’t

Earlier we’d received a lovely invitation from @Darstarr to join her and her hubby for lunch here -

We had to decline as two Beaches & Cream meals on the same day would be Tu much!

(We’re trying to arrange a meet. Missing each other would be Tu bad!)

We wanted B as our server. He works the counter so we asked to be seated there.

He anticipated our order of cheeseburger (Em) and chicken sandwich (me).

When it was time for ice cream, he was prepared to bring Em a No Way José and a chocolate marshmallow sundae for me.

He guessed right for me.

But Em’s decision to pass on the No Way José surprised him.

She explained that she was too full tonight to tackle that bad boy.

She opted for a single scoop hot fudge sundae instead.

After dinner we returned to our pool condo (Em’s moniker for our room.) Enjoyed the firework-free HEA soundtrack for the second night in a row.
Hi Tuvalu, just wondered if you have to pre book Beaches & cream or not as we would like to go there in September.
