Trip Report The Story Comes ALIVE! *COMPLETED*

Hello again, my friends.

For nearly a decade it has been such a joy for me to write about 50 (yes, 50!) different trips that I have taken to WDW - including one that was virtual. ;)

The reason? You, the reader.

I don’t do trip reports for my own documentation. I have journals for that. I write because I love interacting with y’all. Your encouragement, humor, curiosity and even snark (*ahem* @amjt660) assure me that I am not alone in my crazy affection for Disney parks. A big thanks to each of you!

I am very fortunate to be a frequent visitor to WDW (despite what @Mr Ferret 88 believes, I do not live there!) and am entering a season of monthly visits. Trip reporting is time consuming (as those of you who’ve written can attest) but I’m not ready to completely give it up - yet.

What I’d like to do is keep this as an ongoing TR for the rest of 2023. It will be highlights and moments, with live posting as the goal. My story coming alive, so to speak.

First up is spring break with my favorite girl.

Followed closely by a getaway with my favorite guy.

There will be Magician meets. New experiences. And (as always) the unexpected.

I hope you’ll join the fun!

The perfect last day in Disney and Olivia's is such a nice way to end a Disney trip! I can't tell you how much I enjoyed following along on your live TR! Safe travels home and I can't wait to hear your final thoughts. I kept thinking the whole week when reading your TR that this trip seemed like one of your best ones yet! Pete and I wish that we could have been there to share in the fun with you both!

Sunday, con’t

Early in the journey there were several heavy rainstorms which eventually tapered off. I was glad Woody was in the driver’s seat and not me.

Car and bodies now fueled for the last leg.

Dining at Fazoli’s was a real treat. Years ago we frequented a local franchise which is long gone. We loved the unlimited breadsticks (better than Olive Garden IMO) and the pasta/sandwich options.

Today I enjoyed baked lasagna; Woody a meatball sub. I won’t say how many breadsticks were consumed. :angelic:

I miss Fazoli’s. Ours moved years ago. They had the best food.

Fazoli’s was my childhood. Glad to see there’s still a handful around. Sadly, all the ones in my neck of the woods are long gone too. And their breadsticks are most definitely 100% superior when compared to Olive Garden or anywhere else.

My husband LOVED Fazoli's and kept telling me that he had to take me all the years we were dating. Only for him to find out the one in his hometown had closed and he didn't know. The restaurant that I loved in my childhood and will forever live on in nostalgia is a place called El Cabritos. They had THE BEST Mexican pizza! And their desserts were awesome too. Everyone who lived in town during that time still talks with fondness about that place. There used to be one remaining a few hours away but a friend of mine who went there said it didn't taste the same :(

We have a Fazoli’s out in my neck of the woods if you ever feel like driving all the way out to the sticks 😂 I agree, the breadsticks are pretty dang good

Sorry for ALL the notifications as I got caught up on this trip. What a fun one, minus the fall! I have a scar on my knee from when I was 7, rushing out of AK as my family headed to a dining reservation. A garden snake popped out onto the concrete scaring me and I took a tumble. I was horrified and hurt at the time (especially at that age) but now I look at my battle scar fondly. Thanks for making me take that trip down memory lane! :)
