Trip Report The Story Comes ALIVE! *COMPLETED*

Hello again, my friends.

For nearly a decade it has been such a joy for me to write about 50 (yes, 50!) different trips that I have taken to WDW - including one that was virtual. ;)

The reason? You, the reader.

I don’t do trip reports for my own documentation. I have journals for that. I write because I love interacting with y’all. Your encouragement, humor, curiosity and even snark (*ahem* @amjt660) assure me that I am not alone in my crazy affection for Disney parks. A big thanks to each of you!

I am very fortunate to be a frequent visitor to WDW (despite what @Mr Ferret 88 believes, I do not live there!) and am entering a season of monthly visits. Trip reporting is time consuming (as those of you who’ve written can attest) but I’m not ready to completely give it up - yet.

What I’d like to do is keep this as an ongoing TR for the rest of 2023. It will be highlights and moments, with live posting as the goal. My story coming alive, so to speak.

First up is spring break with my favorite girl.

Followed closely by a getaway with my favorite guy.

There will be Magician meets. New experiences. And (as always) the unexpected.

I hope you’ll join the fun!

I always love your final thoughts to a TR. 🥰 I find most Disney trips to have highs and lows and agree that it would be nice to have just a steady flow of good times throughout but that is difficult with so many variables that go along with these types of trips. Your fall definitely ended your trip on a negative note, but you were a trooper and forged on with your schedule being the Disney veteran that you are Tuvalu! Thanks so much for sharing your adventures once again as I so look forward to your stories and honesty in your TR writing. Looking forward to your summer trip with Em!

Just checked in after months so sorry for all the likes as I binge read the report!
As always a fun trip with the exception of your fall. I fear you’ll be feeling the after effects of that for a while. Hopefully you’re recovering.
I have booked for November off site due to sky rocketing costs but Disney is home and that won’t stop me!
Beautiful photos and thanks for continuing to think of me on BTMRR my Disney friend.

I've missed you! Happy to hear you have your fave November trip booked (even if it is offsite.)

I'll never ride BTMRR and not think of you!

Just have to say that we adore the photos of Kona. Post as many as you like please.

I second this motion.

A typical day in the life of Kona begins with several rounds of fetch with a ponytail elastic.

When he tires of playing, he drops the elastic in his food dish. He WILL NOT EAT until this routine is complete. He eats around the elastic, or sometimes eats only the food in the circumference of the elastic.

He is thirsty after eating. Does he use the water bowl next to his food dish? Oh, no. He must drink from the faucet. If I am not fast enough to turn it on, he’ll reach for my finger with his paw.

Then it is nap time. This is one of his chosen spots.

He moves frequently when he sleeps - the opposite of Poly who can lie in the same position for an hour or more.

Then he pesters Poly to play (which she won’t) resulting in the zoomies (or sometimes a cat fight.) Later he’ll “hunt” for his favorite toys and move them to other locations.

In the evening he sleeps behind my recliner.
