I wish Boatwright's also went back to $17.99 prime rib instead of $31.99 ... and included the endless bowls of salad with their own homemade cajun ranch salad dressing. And it would be nice if Fulton's General Store actually sold one item themed to the resort (I may have missed a pin to be fair ... and they do have Larry Dotson art prints too, but those are not exactly mass market items.)

I think I've just going to have to come to terms with being 'the old guy who talks about when milk was a quarter..' or something. At IHOP tonight, even pancakes were $6. Instead of the $3-4 they should be. I just think general price hikes have outpaced my notion of inflation.. and now I'm just the crabby old guy complaining about costs.

DIS certainly gets more traffic. Micechat would be the other, although that of course is DL focussed.

WDWMAGIC is certainly more on-subject than most, even some that may be larger.

That surprises me. I left Micechat many, many moons ago because the boards were all essentially dead except for the DL main one and even that one lacked any deep conversations. ... But the DIS ... that is an interesting forum. I wouldn't last a day there, but it's interesting.

Food stuffs have been outpacing the consumer price index for a few years now, which has caused some questions to be raised regarding the methodologies. The increase in prices has only made food deserts worse in a lot of places.
