OK, I'll probably get slaughtered in the Twitverse for saying this, but some information has come to me regarding Potter 2.0 and Gringotts in particular. I can't go into detail about much, just know that this is VERY well sourced.

Here are some facts:

Gringotts COULD start cycling with real live guests just mere hours from now. The key word is could as that is the plan and COULD happen if all comes together.

Gringotts likely SHOULD not be doing so for another month or so because, frankly and despite everything else you will hear (including breathless reviews if any fanbois get on it tonight and it doesn't breakdown) it just isn't ready to go, just like it wasn't ready for the media preview.

Realistically, this summer is going to be a very tough one for Potter fans because Gringotts' issues haven't been fully resolved and this is going to lead to much reduced capacity, over what the ride is capable of -- and will be down the line, and (likely) frequent downtime on the attraction.

Again, none of the above is opinion. It is fact. It is sourced.

Gringotts is going to be a great ride. But it likely is going to take several months to get this up to speed and to full capacity and not have stoppages during the day.

Hopefully, this isn't lost in all that talk about chicken (and I am getting hungry myself!)

Is this for all TM's including those working at the lowes resorts? if so then crap lol but honestly no harm done really. 100 dollars a night isn't that bad when you really look at the luxury of the resort not to mention the location near universal.

Those rates are available to all Universal Team Members and they can take family and friends with them. It isn't a benefit just for Loew's Hotel employees.

Much like a Disney CM who works outside the theme parks ... from ESPN to the Disney Stores ... can book CM rates at WDW or DLR.

Yes, even amongst my peers I am the crazy traveller. But, it's the last hurrah for 30 years, I'm not liable to get so much time off in a row...

I would like to combine SDL and a Quantum of the Seas Cruise though in January 2016, seems like a perfect match for a short(er) stint.

I have a friend who in his 20s (years ago and, yes, he is much older than me) flew around the world for two years (mostly on Pan Am). College drop-outs could do that back then ... now, they can work 2-3 minimum wage jobs if they can find them.

Can I ask what it is you do that allows you to take ten weeks off consecutively? That is truly unheard of in the states unless you don't work or run the company!

Please, keep me in the loop. I even took this picture just for you. :D

My BELOVED Tung Chung McD's!!!! ... Nothing like having a totally fresh Big Mac, fries still cooked in that unhealthy oil and an icy cold Coke (with no refills) for about $2.50 US. ... I always wanted to try that Spaghetti House place, but never got around to it.

But boy did I enjoy grabbing a McD's and taking the MTR out to HKDL after work!!! (Probably how German tourists feel about Florida outlet malls!)

Will a 3.0 really happen? Even with how good the Potter stuff has been, another land would be a bit much no? In retrospect they could have made an entire 3rd gate dedicated to the boy wizard. I'd like to see them move on to another IP when it comes to future new lands.
Universal Creative said they are not done expanding Potter just yet. Rumor is that Fear Factor will turn into the Ministry of Magic. After that I hope they are done with Potter and I'm a big Potter fan

Funnily enough Mr F hails from the same locale as my good self, though he came from the instant slum new town now famed for being one of the worst place to live in the UK. So its easy to see why he feels at home in LA.

On the plus side I provide this level of entertainment free and devoid of commercial sponsorship.

Yes, but you don't have a dead gay skeleton robot sidekick. Or a horse that is not really a horse ...

I'm at Uni now so I'll report back if it soft opens. I'm definitely heading straight for Gringotts IF it soft opens today

Take this for what it's worth… I heard a new rumor suggesting there may be another generation of magic band to come down the pipe.

Is it how it's used or is to the band themselves? Since people are making a profit selling bands that look like characters, I can see Disney jumping on that "band"wagon and selling those.

I, along with a lot of people - including my daughter's generation - enjoy cooking at home. As someone else stated, if I find a dish I enjoy, I research and experiment until I can duplicate it at home.

Then I eat when I wish, can have a good wine without paying 2 -3 times what it should cost, and no one has to be the designated driver. ;) Why pay $100+ for a meal out when I can make the same at home for $30 ($60 if I get filet from a nearby butcher) - including wine - and one of my husband's killer cocktails? When I do go out, there are a few local places that have good - to outstanding food. As @NowInc mentioned, some open and close frequently, but we try to get to them before they do.

We also go to the Marrakesh restaurant when visiting Epcot, and I agree that it's a hidden gem. I for one am glad that it's not that popular - I don't have to plan where and when I'm going to eat 6 months ahead of time!

I sometimes go to local chains, but when I'm driving places I'll be more likely to stop at a national one for a fast meal. You know exactly what you're going to get.

I can't help but thinking that your kitchen could be featured in one of those Southern Lifestyle magazines and looks warm and comfy and everything is in its proper place and there's a fresh-baked pie sitting on the counter or island, if you have one.

Yes, I'd really like to see your kitchen! :)

Here in North Carolina we have two amazing fast food chains that is hard to find anywhere else, and they are...

and Cook Out!

"Gotta needa wanta hava?" as they say in their ads, great breakfast at Bo's! Probably better than the breakfast they'd serve at the Leaky Cauldron (see, i did keep it not just about food) And an update on "unique projects" within Disney would be great.

What's keeping Gringott's from behaving properly?
