So. Anyone else think Disney will do nothing in response to HP 2.0?
Immediately, no. I think that at some point they'll use the Star Wars property to counter Potter but who knows when. For all we know, Disney may think that Magic Bands, new FL and Avatar are enough of a response.

Next time you're coming to the burgh, please bring mole. There's nothing better in this world than real mole sauce. I've made it myself but screwed it up more times than it came out decent. :(

And just add that little wingding mark over the e, my iPad isn't cooperative this morning.
Believe it or not, you can do wonders with a simple bottled mole (Doña Maria is the most standard).

The trick is to:

a) DO NOT USE WATER TO DISSOLVE THE MOLE! USE FRESH CHICKEN SOUP! you could add the same veggies and pieces of chicken to the mole later.
b) Add two or tree spoons of sugar and one little amount of salt for every 1/4 or 1/3 of the mole bottle!
c) Never remove the oily thing of the Mole bottle.. MIX IT before you start to dissolve it!
d) Fresh tortillas is a must!
e) You can use sesame seeds when serving to add color AND taste.

You call something a buffalo wing and the end result is nothing like a real buffalo wing, it's not legit. Buffalo wild wings has nothing to do with the city of buffalo. Heck the first location here wasn't until they were established in many other cities.
I understand but there is some sort of requirement or special recipe for a real "buffalo wing" ?
Does it need to use the basic Frank's sauce?

WOW, the part where people said Harry Potter changed their lives.. is.. wow!

Obsession is relative. Generally, it’s considered unhealthy when it negatively impacts work or family.

Some of my associates’ lives revolve around golf. They leave work early, rearrange business trips, spend many thousands on club memberships, green fees, and the latest equipment, all to devote hundreds of hours each year away from their spouses and children.

Yet they cannot understand my obsession with WDW, which I share with my DW and four children.

Go figure.
Probably because the golf thing is standard for machismo at the corporate "businessmen" level?.

Just like some people think that religious obsession (going to church almost every day, chant.. go to religious meetings, shows, ..etc..etc..) is completely "normal".

My husband and I have always thought that the Florida sun alters brain cells...
They always said "Theres something in the water..."

Take this for what it's worth… I heard a new rumor suggesting there may be another generation of magic band to come down the pipe.

Related to bands, I stayed a week at a beachfront resort which was offering bands for a $2 fee. They opened your room and I guess could be used to charge things to the room. I didnt get one, but it made me laugh thinking of this place. The resort was part of the Hilton Grand Vacation Club but I'm not sure if its rolled out at all their resorts or just that one.

Yep, I guess there is a difference there if you are getting paid or making money off it. Even then, I personally would go insane spending 3 weeks waiting for this thing to open. I'm not sure how some of the touring plans folks are able to visit the Disney Parks pretty much every day and still enjoy them. There is one person that is in Disneyland constantly...I'd be in a straightjacket at that point.

Disneyland has multiple regulars, but I won't state their names. Without joking, they have special needs and are mentally handicapped, so Disneyland is like a safe haven for them. USH has at least one regular as well.

Getting married changed my life, having 2 daughters changed my life. I love Star Wars, Disney and really do enjoy Potter...but none of them have changed my life. Enhanced it, brought enjoyment...yes. But I dare say my life would we as equally fulfilling if I didn't enjoy SW, Disney or Potter. Heck, I'd even argue that my life may have been more fulfilling had I spent the time and money I used supporting those properties to broaden my families horizons and visit far off lands like Europe, Asia or even some of the great cities in the US.

At the end of the day, we're all different and what touches us differs dramatically. There are a lot of folks out there searching for that "thing" that will make a difference in there lives or fill a hole. For many of us, it's the things I mentioned while for others it's something much more simplistic like the neverending trips to Disney or other theme parks. I just can't imagine that any piece of entertainment, unless you have a job in said property, would ever truly change your life.

Well there are those folks of course...I'm speaking more of the prominent Disney twitter personalities that are there every day, because it's their job of course. Unless you think they have special needs as well.
