I refuse to defend Apple, nor its fanbois.

I do enjoy using Apple's products but hate the way they force you to upgrade through not supporting older products.
This is pretty much how I feel. Using an Apple product doesn't make you a fanboi. Sometimes I think the anti-Apple people are way more fanatical than even the fanbois themselves. Isn't saying you will never buy something because it's made by Apple just as fanatical as only buying products made by Apple?

This is like the Disney versus Universal arguments... if you haven't seriously tried out both products you look idiotic commenting on them. Each device producer have their merits and to hold unyielding loyalty to one or the other without actually understanding what they offer to different market segments truly makes you a close-minded fanboi.

Did the Orlando Magic management contract the TDO incompetence illness? Trade your best player for some scraps and then botch a top-five pick?

Hey, at least Orlando built an expensive new arena for this team!

Well, at least we have the Lightning over here in Tampa with a world class owner and a world class arena that was upgraded to make it better for all the fans not just the rich ones who are there to be seen.

Maybe not American ones. But the last time I was at Premium Outlet--still struggled to find a space an hour before closing (Universal and WDW both wish they could hold crowds like that) I felt like the only American walking around. That's the market TDO thinks Disney Springs can attract.

Ah, the Premium Outlets. Even here in the Bay Area, our local center is crowded with international tourists. Not that it matters, considering roughly 90% of the merchandise at those places is substandard/exclusive to the outlets crap.

I'm still trying to figure out what the Sixers we're doing earlier tonight...Wasn't too happy about Elfrid Payton at 10.

I don't like Apple and their associated products. A person couldn't pick up a pile of parts, assemble them and load software ending up with a working computer that was Apple based. The reluctance of Apple to allow clones led me down the road to dislike them a long time ago.

Who knows? It is summer and Kevin certainly can take a break whenever he wants. I know the rest of the important Micechat guys (except for Fidel's little bro!) spent a few weeks in Europe of late, including a Med cruise on the MAGIC and a visit to DLP.

I don't have a Faux Top One Percent Spirited Summer Holiday scheduled, unfortunately (perhaps, if you each kicked in some $$$, then I could take one!), but I am feeling frustrated at the typical summer fanboi antics and am thinking about a sabbatical myself.

As to @KevinYee, I think he needs to reevaluate what he is doing on Micechat and what the market wants (see, I can speak like a soulless capitalist too!) because he's becoming another Jim Hill type (counting down the time before a certain New Englander comes in and defends him), where his relevant days are in the past.

I didn't mean to infer he wasn't allowed to vacation? Just the radio silence since his last "article" is deafening. Don't blame him for getting out of Florida right now. Have you been outside ugh. Uni must be making a couple bucks off the specials standing outside of london via drinks.

Hackintoshes are a thing.
Those still require specific hardware. You can't just grab any motherboard and any ram and just throw on the latest os but I digress.

I am waiting for a job in Tampa but if that new arena for the magic becomes a new job for my competitor I may jump ship! I already missed one opportunity to leave my city because I was still ok with where I lived. Then the winter happened...

I like watching sabres games in tampa, it sounds like they're playing at home with all the transplants down there.

I also wonder, as I mentioned to a friend who is thinking of booking it for a September visit, if it is as loud inside those rooms as it always was at those old motor lodges that sat on top of parking lots like CB does.

Honestly they would have to be loud. They are practically on top of the road.
