I am not looking to drive boats around Bay Lake (that might work for my 74-year-old father, if I trusted his ability to pilot a boat safely!)!

Many of the ones driving them should not even be doing it. Half of the dockings are whiplash inducing and tearing the vessels up like no one's business.

Regarding the part I highlighted above...

I don't think this is completely accurate now that you can get additional passes after using the first three. On certain days it might be, but to say there is no hope ever?

Ever since FP+ began, it's rare for TT and Soarin' to have FPs available past 11am on moderate (not busy) days.

As smart as a move as it would be, I highly doubt Disney will give an announcement in the next few weeks to steal Unis thunder. Just don't think they would want to, well, do the project, and it might come off as kind of a **** move.

But, they are, in a way, doing it with the rat ride opening 2 days later. Although that is in a different continent...

My favorite was when Universal waited until the opening of the Mine Train to hoist the dragon up on top of the bank.

I'm asking because.in a year I may be a Florida resident. Not in orlando but florida nonetheless.

Not a Floridian, so unsure, but...Royal Pacific in April for $169 a night with a theme park view. I've paid more for POR with a view of the parking lot.

Disney still has enough good stuff in its parks that it doesn't need to play poor sport during this time. Disney also has enough to improve that they should resume the high standards held from the 70s to 90s. Uni has plenty of room for improvement, too.

Actually, I was referring to the timing of when Star Wars is coming being unknown, not the timing of the current hype. Doesn't detract from your point though.

I can see now that on the wdw site and tplans that there are no EMH evening hours listed on Monday 9/29 when I'm going to be there; it still shows on the calendar here though...it was 9pm - 11pm.

MK Evening hours seem to have moved from Mondays to Saturdays from July 14th...
