Seems Shanghai is getting the scaled down version of SDMT as well. Disappointing...

Character assassination?
What?
In order to make Maleficent a more sympathetic character, they made all the good guys from the original film either evil or incompetent.

King Stefan is the main villain and metaphorically rapes Maleficent by drugging her and cutting her wings off to gain political power
The three good fairies are now a bunch of incompetent morons that can't take care of a baby at all, with Maleficent actually watching over Aurora from the shadows over the 16 years and keeping her from not dying.
There is a Prince Phillip in the movie, but he's just a red herring plot device in the third act

The negative reviews for Maleficent keep pouring in.

Course I knew this was gonna be trash anyway what with all the character assassination and removing almost everything that made the character of Maleficent cool.

The negative reviews don't surprise me. In my opinion, Disney hasn't made a great live-action film since 2003, and that film was Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl. They've been lacking in that department for years.

It's just the final nail in the coffin for me. Say what you want about Gran Fiesta, but at least it still takes you through Mexico (even if the ride is pretty meh). Frozen most likely will throw away all mention of Norway from the ride.
And again, El Rio Del Tiempo and the third act of Three Caballeros were pretty much the same thing anyways: surreal travelogues through Mexico featuring a Mary Blair-inspired interlude focused around a Mexican Holiday.

lol, what kind of a response is that? This is a very subjective discussion. Just because you think Pirates is the best or I think Saving Mr. Banks is doesn't mean either definitively is. It's all based on how you view it.

What do you mean what kind of response was that? You stated your opinion that you like Saving Mr. Banks and The Muppets more than Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl. I respect your opinion and I said 'okay'. I don't know where your response is coming from. I didn't mean for my response to come off as rude. I really just mean okay, I'm not saying your opinion is wrong.

Gran Fiesta is easy to ignore. Frozen dominating Norway won't be.(Though I shall most assuredly try...)

But then, there's that Nemo thing....

Honestly, it is getting to the point where the only way to ignore it is to not step foot into the park.
