The Spirited Seventh Heaven ...

Before I somehow forget, weirdest thing I saw for sale at DLR: duct tape in either Spidey or Hulk variety in what once was the Starcade. Why this product even exists is a bit beyond my comprehension. But so were those Walt staches that were being dumped at Company D/Property Control in Anaheim.

Can't speak to the boy versions... but I can tell you designer duct tape is quite popular with our barn teenagers.

Cap only makes sense if you totally throw away any rational thought whatsoever and is incredibly violent

I made a similar comment in my review..
First, I was surprised at the level of gun violence in the film. Yes it's PG-13, but the film came off as much more violent then the 'fantasy violence' I've been accustomed too in the previous Marvel films. I was a tad uncomfortable with it for my 11yr old with me. Anyone who comments 'why isn't Marvel helping with the young boy crowd?' - just look at this film.. not boy material.

So good flick.. a tad too violent for the ideal demographic.. amazing visuals.. but lacks the memorable hero moments.

Saving Mr Banks was enjoyable, but nothing to write home about.

An EPCOT note, but when I said Frozen was the only thing coming to the park in the near future that didn't include the new Soarin film. I'd expect that sometime in 2016 unless the Chinese demand a certain period of exclusivity.

Soarin, btw, looks soooo much better in Anaheim. But you all knew that, right? You also knew that waits never seem longer than an hour, even on the busiest of days ... and there is a single rider line that I took advantage of multiple times (just like RSRs, Screamin, Splash Mountain, Indy and Matterhorn).

Are there barely any single rider lines in Florida?

Looking forward to hearing about your cruise @WDW1974. Personally, the cruise I took in 2012 aboard The Dream was a Disney highlight for me. The level of customer service, cleanliness (they clean your Stateroom several times a day!) and fun that we experienced on that trip was amazing. We are looking to take one of the longer voyages for our 20th anniversary in 2015.

Cruise was absolutely WONDERful. We did experience a few issues early on, but the cast/crew did an amazing job of making things right. ... I know they had some challenges because they only had about 270 children onboard when they are used to well over 1,000 typically. Having so many adults seemed to throw the dining room staff off their rhythm as they are not used to serving so many adults with six courses and alcohol etc. Talking to a few CMs we knew from prior cruises, we were pretty much told this.

Loved the ports, especially the Mexican ones. I know it is en vogue to scare Americans into staying away, but honestly I felt far safer down there than I do in O-Town.

Cleaning staterooms multiple times a day is standard in the cruise industry and our host did a terrific job.

I'd like to get on one of the new ships (I have one cruise booked right now), but am hoping to convince a CM pal to go on a discounted voyage as I find the price points to run from high to flat out insane.

No. There are not. However, as you get closer to the queue, they may call for smaller groups (1 and 2)to skip ahead a bit in the line to fill a ride vehicle when a larger family insists on riding together.

A little more info on Frozen in Epcot as well as in PhilharMagic...
http://www.wdwthemeparks.com/news/2...ng-to-both-maelstrom-and-mickeys-philharmagic

The article says:
In addition, we have been informed that an 18 month "build time" should be expected from the closure of Maelstrom to the re-opening of the new attraction. It is anticipated that the post show video area will somehow be integrated into the queue and the attraction would exit out directly into a gift shop. These details are still in flux, but our source has advised us that this is the current plan under consideration. With that said, it can be speculated that Maelstrom would close in January 2015 with a re-opening in summer of 2016.

wow 18 months... Sounds like they may rip out that big screen. so long spirit of norway.

something is off about the article because thats not 18 months , jan 15 - summer 16.... Sounds like they may rip out that big screen. so long spirit of norway.

Why couldn't that be 18 months? Jan 2015 to July 2016 is 18 months.

That said, an 18 month build out doesn't sound like a "quick addition" that seemed to be rumored and speaks more to an extensive overhaul. Might be consistent with what was suggested earlier about the current load queue being made into an additional show scene.

It took them 18 months to reskin a meet n greet tent.
