@orlando678- is one of the longest running forum members we have around here - famous for refurbing or coming up with original theme parks, one of his most popular threads has accumulated over 61K views - in Refurbing Disneyland Resort Paris - check it out below!

Next we have the energetic and innovative @TwilightZone - for her spotlight we're going to look at something fun that was never was, but always will be. Back in 2019 there was a Star Rod Competition concept that she had come up with. While the timing just never worked out, the original story is something to be admired (and who knows maybe it's in The Celestial as well?)

@NigelChanning you might know from top finishes in So, You Want To Be An Imagineer Season 18 and 1986, but before those showcases, Nigel was a prominent blue sky brainstormer with an eclectic variety of threads this past spring.

One below - a Modern Magic Kingdom - is just a sample size of his creative potential!
I would also like to announce that starting sometime between January and February 2021, you’ll get to witness a fully fleshed out Blue Sky Disney Resort by myself! This is the first time I’ve truly committed to a single idea and ran with it. Look out, everybody, it’s gonna be big!

Next we got @MickeyMousketeer - making his triumphant return to games like this, Mickey over the years has been known similar to Nigel for coming up with some unique brainstorming concepts including this one about Disneyland Madrid!

Hmm, I might have to get back into this one...

One of the player/hosts in this game is @tcool123 - known for many things around the forum such as the 12 Days of Christmas as well as other brainstorming threads throughout the years, one of his most popular accomplishments was with A Twist in Time - a time-traveling themed competition through the parks. Folks may want to take a read of this one as it's one of the events that may have influence over his segment of the Fantasmic Timeline!

Next we have the return of @kmbmw777 - who is making a triumphant return in this game, but has been around for some time before. Back in the day, he used to run March Madness events on the forums, where people would vote for the best projects on the forum in the tournament style bracket. In addition, one of the most overlooked accomplishments was the 2016 year-end event - Eisner's Game, which included a bunch of creative concepts to round out the year!

@Miru has been around for a while, always providing feedback and comments to open brainstorming concepts throughout the years, and making his SA debut in this season! One of his active threads he has going on right now is envisioning 'Day 1'- Style Dark Rides that we should go check out!

Our latest welcomed sign-up is @Lora Baines Bradley - who just recently had posted a new scene for Spaceship Earth that had come from one of her school projects! Lora goes back a long way to @Disney Dad 3000 's Great Movie Ride Competition from 2017 but for now go check out her thread below!

A relatively new member to the forums - @ThemeParkPriest has in his brief time created an interesting thread on an attraction for the new movie Soul, which was conceptualized before its release as a brainstorming exercise. Now with the film's release, it would be neat to revisit the thread and see what we could change!

What is your favorite unbuilt Disney parks concept?
Dick Tracy's Crime Stoppers.

I've got an affinity for the film, thanks to the sheer style that it possesses with its color palette and the fun 1930s action. However, it's bolstered further by the fact that this ride would have been an interactive shooter dark ride with EMV tech for the ride vehicles. Basically, it would have beaten Indiana Jones Adventure and Men in Black: Alien Attack to the punch on both of those ride types.

WestCOT!

The benefits would have been at least twofold. The Disneyland Resort would be in a better place today, spared the horrors of DCA 1.0 (while still potentially maintaining worthwhile ideas like Soarin’) and with a far more efficient resort expansion master plan than we got. Plus a second gate that, whatever it’s possible flaws, would easily trounce DCA with ambition and with attractions that are based on a real theme.

Florida’s Epcot would have greatly benefited too, with a sister park to share R&D costs. WestCOT could have reinvigorated a park concept which has been willfully neglected by Disney’s CEOs from Eisner onwards. With WestCOT, the Epcot model would be strengthened, likely rescuing the original Journey into Imagination and likely minimizing thematically needless IP intrusions like Frozen or GOTG.
