The Sorcerer's Warmups

When the snap in the Sorcerer's Apprentice Universe occurred shockwaves rippled throughout the timeline, and unearthed a total of nine forgotten and unused prompts from seasons past. In the lead up to the kick off of the Sorcerer's Apprentice @tcool123 and I will be posting these recovered prompts every day, once a day, to everyone that's excited to get there creative juices flowing a way to warmup. Even if you're not participating in the Sorcerer's Apprentice feel free to pitch your own ideas for the prompts. Now without further ado get ready for the secondwarmup prompt :D

Stepping into a bit more of a niche land. One people might be less familiar with. Hong Kong Disneyland's Phase 2 expansion was made up of three mini-lands. Mystic Point which was centered around one E-Ticket attraction (the beloved Mystic Point). Toy Story Playland which was a collection of flat rides. And Grizzly Gulch, another land centered around a single E-Ticket and a play area.

This land serves as a mix of Grizzly Peak in DCA and Frontierland. A mining town full of bears centered around a large bear shaped mountain! As part of Hong Kong Disneyland's Phase 3 expansion, lets try to round this mini-land out into more of a fully fledged land. Here is an interactive map if you'd like to take a look at it. The goal is to add 1 new attraction, there already is an E-Ticket. So, let's try to go for more of a C/D-Ticket to balance it out!

Imagineers during this practice prompt you may use one to two sentences, and one image. Good luck and remember KISS: Keep it simple, silly :D
Rainbow Caverns Tour
2Q.png

This dark ride will take guests through a tour of the mystical Rainbow Caverns, full of the fearsome critters from American Mythology, such as the jackalope and the teakettler. Guests are tasked to collect the gems with robotic arms without disrupting the peace of the creatures, a scoreboard is provided at the end of the ride to show who collected the most gems.

Semi contest related. Disney continues to really try hard to make sure we don't go back.

I only ever really saw cast members and toddlers doing it and it took literal hours to fully complete and it was probably the least engaging interactive game in all of WDW and was never that well liked by most people I talked to, BUT it was a neat free addition and collecting the cards was a lot of fun! Hopefully they continue having some form of game throughout the park. Even if it is just in the Disney Play App.
It's always sunny is going to Disney+?
Countries that don't have Hulu will have "Star" as an upcharge they can add to Disney+. It will have all the non-Disney friendly content like Always Sunny and Family Guy and Alien. And parents can set it so you need a password for Star stuff so kids can't get it

I hear you and admittedly, it would drag on after you did a portal or two. Honestly sometimes we'd only do 1 or 2 stops just to break up the day and do something different. My kid got a kick out of it, plus the cards are pretty cool and honestly if nothing else, it had us spending time in certain little corners of the park that we would never stop at.
Most important to me, it was just part of the overall experience. It was something besides rides, dining and shops that Disney was good at providing that you didn't usually have to wait in line for, book a FP or reservation for or pay for. If this took up a bunch of space and manpower, I could see it. While not as cool as the portals, I don't know why this couldn't work just as easily with the Disney Play App and play the portal video on your phone.

I fully agree, it is a shame to see it go and it seems like such a senseless thing to cut. I hope there is a replacement for it before too long.

Things like this, the adventureland game, Wilderness Explorers, kidcot, and the World Showcase Adventure add so much to the parks!

For old time's sake, one of the best projects I've read

The Microverse
Omg that was a project I worked on..

Ps sorry I've been drinking with coworkers and management

This was a beautiful project that I'm so proud off. Maybe not best work but top 5.

The presentation was based off the Swiss pavilion documentation that was shown on .

I, like the rest of my team, would be glad to answer questions about it.

Thanks to none other than PBS the VHS tape section is gone and that was one of the best parts

Y’all remember that conversation about the Pixar Theory a while back? Turns out, there’s been a wild new update that I’ve heard. A new theory that actually makes a ton of sense.

Essentially, the theory states that whenever Jack-Jack teleported to an alternate dimension in Incredibles 2, he was really time traveling to the same location but centuries and centuries later. This time period that he teleported to just happens to be the age of the Monster World. We can assume this because of these lines spoken by Monstropolis locals

These seem to be outlandish claims made up by attention-seeking citizens at first glance but all line up with aspects of Jack-Jack’s power set.
